Yo GuyS! 
I'm playing tibia for a long time now... But I'm looking for an other MMORPG...But I want a 2D..Bcuz 3D wont get on with my internet connection...Its too slow. So anyone knows a 2D ass-kicking MMORPG??

UO is Ultima Online. I tried it recently and didn't like it but it's been going strong for years, so what do I know?
You might also want to try NexusTK (nexustk.com) and Dark Ages (darkages.com), both anime-type games by Nexon. The good part is that the software is a free download (it will take a couple hours at 56K, but you can download it in smaller pieces too) and both have a free trial period, although I believe Dark Ages has closed theirs temporarily because a serious exploit was discovered and....well...exploited by non-registered newbies.
Dark Ages is VERY role-play oriented - at times to the point of fanaticism depending on which players are running the cities - so, if you don't really like a whole lot of role-playing, go to NexusTK.
2D mmorpgs dont always run faster than 3D mmorpgs and it doesnt always have to do with your connection but your hardware...Dark ages is pretty fun (lots of jerks though) Nexus has gone way down hill (too many jerks to count .)The mmorpg im working on one of the servers is opening up this month ..I havent played UO though I did enjoy the offline series.

Every game has its share of jerks. Nexus and Dark Ages tend to have more than their share of younger jerks, however. The games are relatively easy to play, and because of the anime-type avatars and environment, parents of younger players are probably more apt to allow their children to play them. There's just too much sensual eye candy in some of the bigger games.
In spite of the jerks, there is still thriving communities in those games and they should not be overlooked. They suffer some of the same problems that bigger games do - trade skills are still tedious, for instance - but there are some things that they do better than the bigger games.
The jerk to nice person ratio on those games is like 10:1 =P
I like dark ages a lot more than Nexus...if you want to get anywhere in nexs you better know somebody and bribe and make friends with lots of people ...I quit because after being in a subpath for like a year we got a new elder and if you wanted to be one of his officers/guide he had to be able to CALL YOU ON THE DAMN PHONE . We reported it to Nexon and nothing was done. Way too much of that goes on in nexus..as for tradeskills I have no complaints with dark ages but Nexus's tradeskills do not make room for new people to easily start. The price of supplies jacks up because greedy people pay 2x the price so they get it and then thats what the price permanently gets set at . Like wool in that game ..all the mages who could do it soloed the sheep and took everything..and because of the curse on items they could just kill it all and collect later. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer as they say.
Like I said I enjoy dark ages a lot more. Despite that people found a way around the language filter and abuse it frequently its a lot of fun. The battle system gets awkward but its still good

Lol just found this site couple days ago, And i personally love nexus, Ive played for 5 years on and off. The thing with nexus though is that the GM's dont give a crap about anything, and it has been going down hill for the last like 3 moths, Like the econmy is totaly screwed cause of the bug where you could spawn like 60 million coins, and then just buy like 10 Fb's for like 25mil. Although the other posts are right, If you dont know someone when you start out, Your not gettin very far unless your determined and are gonna do whatever it takes.
Other then that I think Nexon's games in general are all pretty good, accept for Shattered galaxy. I really dont like that game to much, I'de stick with nexus a 100x more.
P.S. Hopefully someone will read this cause there is no forum for nexus.

Well, I just wrote a huge review on my days in NexusTK and guess what happened.... Yup.
So I'll just have to sum it all up, as it's way too long to rewrite. The first time around, the game was super fun. It had a certain feel to it that I absolutely loved and was addicted to. I seriously advise you to register for a month, and at least get to level 99 (shouldn't take more than 2-3 weeks, even if your a noob. There ARE some nice people in the game). Nexus is perfect for 56k.
I must add, that the days when I played Nexus were the most fun of all the time I spend on my computer. I don't know if this was because I was younger, and possible Nexus is more fun for the younger teenagers, or because it was new to me at the time.
Don't judge the game by the level 10 free trial. Get into it. I hope it's a blast for you.

Try out Lineage or Dark Ages.
I'd have to agree with the poster about the game running more dependently on your computer. If you have a decent computer you can still play World of Warcraft or Everquest 2 on 56k. However if your on a lower connection then you might have trouble. :P
And I totally remember the good old days when I was playing UO on my 28.8 connection. *sigh* Wasn't that fun....

Jeez, I must have not have gaven Dark Ages the chance, within lik 10 mins i decided '' i hate this game'' and i uninstalled it. Its either that or I'm spoiled off of Ragnarok Online. RO is my all time 2d mmorpg.
And if you want a good 2d mmorpg, I sugest you play RO.. its super addicting.,

I agree, Ragnarok is a very good 2D MMORPG, I have played on the V.I.P. server and the regular ones, But thats the problem. Only people who know GM's or people who work at the Ragnarok distributing company, Can play on V.I.P. Servers if not you have to pay to play on a crowded server.
RO is not as good as I think nexus or DarkAges is, because Nexon has worked on all 3 of there games (NexusTk,DarkAges,& Shattered Galaxy) over the years to devolop the communities they have and the Finely tuned Econmy.
