^that game looks ten times better and ten times more finished than this will probably ever be.

Thats the type of game that deserves a front page list spot not this paid beta dnl crap.

    There is no paid beta, people are saying that there wont be full content at release ,thats not true this game will have way more content than any other game and whats wrong about talking about later expansions?

    Yea, Sun isat least year away. And all these games get pushed back. So probably more like 2 or 3 years.

    So get back to us in a couple of years

    Ukraina STOP it man, this is the second topic i've seen you just hate on Dark and Light. If what i saw was correct then Sun is a console game.. which can change the matter in a couple of ways and others say its instanced combat, that is like Guild Wars correct? Those aint mmorpg's those are loads of crap that are put in the mmorpg genre because they have no real place to be, they are an exile.

    So far it looks like one of those foggy (AA overload) anime games like Guild Wars. EQ2 had some weird things too. Ever seen how the females stood in EQ2, legs apart, hips forward and upper body leaning back. ::::02::

    what do u expext ukraina this is a closed beta about 2000 players are playing beta when this game reaches release it will easily reach 300-600k people playing wont be vast nothingness for long.

    also realize that this game is oriented towards large population of those will wil fight each other. PvP, RvR whatever, vast nothingness. maybe. but thats only beta, obviously they are still working on stuff and more then likely will actually have mobs, creatures, and what not around (specifically in the newbie areas that we will start in). so again, DONT judge them so irrationaly, its not even technically out yet.

    300k-600k playing? Are you serious? Assuming everysingle one of the games 'fans' supports it and buys on release, you may be looking at... well, with the European community, I would guess 150k. I think the numbers are more likely to be around 70k-100k, if you take the optimistic approach. But, if the game is going to be what its destined to, it will still be around 6 months after release and hoepfully by that time it will be the game it should have been this April. Heres hoping.

    Probably within a month or so after release the number will be more like 300 to 600 . I seriously doubt the game will ever sell more than 1000 copies from release until server shutdown. Even being very optimistic in a best best case scenario and this is if they manage to add more content in the next month than they have in the last year and manage to stabalize the servers I would guess it will fall somewhere between Mournings numbers and Saga of Ryzoms at it's peak before it fades into oblivion.

    Wait until some of the game sites start doing previews next month and you will see why I say what I do.

    someone order a grave stone and carve out "DnL" on the head stone.

    This will go the way of WISH very quickly. 60,000+ downloads on fileplanet did WISH have...

    overhyped and cancelled. At least WISH knew what to do.

    300 to 600? to be honest, its going to bring in a LOT more then that. First, look at how many votes there have been for this game (some from the past, some recent). This is going to be in europe and the US, 300 to 600? i will say at least 10k. AT LEAST. I have told my friends about this game and they will want to try it out, so thats just one city.. in one state... in the US... thats 10 right there. 300 to 600 is just an idiotic answer , if there are 2000 beta players (even if half of them dont play) that still beats your number and when it goes retail even more will get in.

    Re read my post I said 300 - 600 after the first month. Like someone else pointed out Wish had 60 K downloads for their last beta but how many people played for more than a hour or two? I am being real generous with the 300 - 600 number. If they make it a free beta they will be lucky to have than many testing after the first month, if they honestly expect people to pay.....

    Hey wanna know something, WoW dropped their NDA and had open beta stress tests way before launch so people knew exactly what they were getting. If DnL was just missing some high end content they could most likely find a publisher wouldn't you think. Nah, you probably think at least 50% plus of the basic core of a game is really there don't you and the server will be stable for the most part.

    SERIOUSLY bro. I know you were a big fan and then became disappointed, but whats up with the constant rant? You arent changing anyones mind. Is it somehow therapuetic? I'm not trying to be a dick. I really want to know how you benefit from the constant tirade?

    So if you can answer me without launching into a major flame towards me or the game, I really want to know. Because you have to know you arent changing anyone's opinion or decision on whether or not to play the game?!

    Isnt it possible for you to disagree with the devs decision and still be optimistic or at the very least have hope? I think there is room for hope at the very least. :)

    I find it curious that my urging people to wait until the NDA is dropped and they can have a better idea of what they are buying upsets so many people. It almost makes me think that those people know that if people wait until the NDA is dropped that a lot of people might change their mind before purchasing.

    Dont get me wrong. You are in no way shape or form upsetting me. Now maybe I mistook what you were saying all along. Maybe inbetween the lines what you were really saying was "everyone chill until the NDA is dropped" but it sounded (to me :)) like, "this game is gonna suck, when it is done sucking it will suck somemore and you are all lame if you pay for it in November" :) I probably misunderstood you.

    I think its cool if people want to read some reviews or whatnot before they purchase. More power to em. Hell wait till December or when it hits store shelves. I'm throwing down on Day 1. If it borks, I'm out a couple bucks. Trust me, I've screwed up worse in my lifetime. :) If it's playable I'll be the happies gamer on my block (course I'm probably the only gamer).

    3 month open beta? Yea ok.
