I Need Help Looking for a Ninja Uniform

I'm having a hard time looking for a uniform that looks like Rikimaru's from the game Tenchu. See:

If a costume found that looks like Ryu from Ninja Gaiden (From the first level) or Shinobi is fine with me. I'm having a hard time finding costumes like this and they might have some kind of speical name.

Do you guys think you can give me some clues or help me out?

what? are you planning to run around in a ninja costume? did the games finally get to you? like when someone plays CS to much he starts buying a gun and starts shooting people in his school.

... they do not have uniforms, the object is to blend in so 1 is unnoticed, walking around in a black suit with a swd is not a way one would survive very long, nor acomplish the mission.

My brother takes ninjutsu (he has hios black belt in it)

During his weekly dojo training they simply wear a Gi

During tournaments they also wear a normal Gi....

The "ninja" Gi is no longer really worn. He wore it about 7 times in 13 years. And they wear it only to special Ninjutsu events. Even people studying the art of Ninja don't even wear em.

But the closest you're gonna get is this:

But they dont wear those anymore...only to special functions...

If you want a Gi that looks cool try bushido.

I did Bushido for about 3 years. Got tired of it when I kept on getting hit in the gonads with a Daiku sword ( a very thick piece of wood carved to look like a Samurai sword)

BTW....dont put a Ninjutsu and a Bushido person in the same room alone. They pretty much hate each other's art

Also, if you get high enough in Bushido, the Prime Minister of Japan gives you a set of honorary Samurai Armor. (I say honorary because Samurai are officially no more....just the art of Bushido remains)

I studied ninjutsu like your brother. Me and an old friend of mine were so good that we would pretty much add wrestling combos to our moves...sounds pretty lame, but was never easy. We also had conflicts with the Bushido noobs so we had turf wars in Myrtle Beach lol....until our masters found out. Thanks for the info man. Some of this stuff I forgot and I have to tell a buddy of mine looking for a costume.

I think I know about the ways of a NINJA. Mainly they would rather discuses themselves to complete task of intrusion. Very few ninjas wore black and would rather wear colors (dark colors) to camouflage with there surroundings.. I think dark green and red were among the most popular.I beleive shall I go on?

Well, I am relieved that for once it was his brother and not himself... Would have fitted badly with the other 37 careers, depending on what the subject is.

But ninjasuits are everywhere, almost any budoshop have a ninjasuit. and I can promise you that if you look for al onger time than five minutes on google, you WILL find a better one than one with a skimask and a sweaterhood.

I was wrong. It took 20 seconds on google to find one closer to a real one:

Well you can see the shoes below the whole uniform and they look ok to me. Not any special quality, but ok. Trousers are the usual ones, what I dislike is this modern idea to use elastic bands to tie your legs with, instead of normal cloth bands. I guess its easier and slightly less constricting, but its uglier.

But, all in all, a good modern version of a suit at a fair price. Then there are several more version out there. I would suggest you go down and talk to your local budo store and look through their catalouges, to find one that suit your taste.
