I did the new Decendant of Rohan deed-quest earlier this week, where you meet Gandalf the White and Shadowfax. That's already set in a bit of Rohan (can't get 'out' too much) and it looked very good indeed. Can't wait for Rohan to go live (oh wait, first I have to hit 75...)
The landscape always looks great, it's the character models that severely need upgrading.
Pumping out expansions, each expansion offering less and less content with more and more to buy... Please someone smack turbine across the face so maybe they can realize that being greedy is not good.
Comments like this puzzle me. Nothing wrong with the character models, they are a lot better than most MMO's.
I do think the expansion cost is way over the top though.
I really wonder how much of the content is gonna be bugged this time around? And take week's to fix.
I agree, the character models DEFINATELY need some work, along with the animations, they are hands down the reason i can't get into the game because the animations and models look so darn clunky and bad. But also, as stated above, the world looks beautiful.
I don't think you've played many other MMORPGs if you think LOTRO has good character models/faces. I can't think of many that have worse. Everquest, obviously.
