I love Order and Chaos Online because it is a PC quality MMORPG in my pocket, wherever I go. There is something special to be said for a game of this scale to be created, doing it with touch screen controls, and making it work over a 3g connection on an iPhone or an iPad. It is incredible. I have three friends who also play the game and because we all chose different classes to play as we are able to run all of the Legendary Dungeons.
Recently we had concerns that no matter how much we played we would never get epic weapons and then Gameloft surprised us all and allowed everyone to get epic weapons by grinding out daily quests. It might sound silly but having that alternate way to get gear was something my friends and I felt was needed, it was suggested by the players, and it gives people a reason to log in daily to complete those quests again.
The best thing about the game, currently, is that there are active servers to log into in what is a mostly PVE centered game, and we have no idea how awesome the game is going to be once they add PvP Arenas! The sky is the limit for the first successful full scale 3d MMORPG on phones and it will continue to dominate the MMORPG market on phones. For about six dollars a year you can be subscribed to this game. One more cool thing is that they will likely follow the World of Warcraft format of updates. When new MMORPG challengers arrive on the market, once people find a cool feature on those games, Gameloft will likely implement it into Order & Chaos Online which makes it so that you will stay on this game rather than move on.
*Beautiful graphics.
*Casual and Hardcore elements in the game.
*PVE Dungeons
*Open world PvP areas.
*Works on WiFi or 3g.
*Six dollars a year will let you play a full scale 3d MMORPG on your phone with your friends! You simply can not top that.
For the reasons above, among others not listed so I don't clog up the forums, I love this game and it is the only game, not just MMORPG, that I keep on my phone and iPad. It is well made and will stand the test of time and I appreciate a developer stepping up to the plate to provide this experience to my friends and I on our phones. Thank you Gameloft for making the game and thank you MMORPG.com for hosting this contest. Good luck to everyone.
" because it is a PC quality MMORPG in my pocket"
Oh come now, it is not even close to what you find on PC's. That is an absurd statement. The game is fun though, but very limited as anything on a pocket device will be for a while.
EDIT: Was going to respond but I will leave it at different people have different opinions. Thank you for not adding anything pertinent to the conversation.
love it because i can FINALLY get my MMORPG addiction on the road ;-)
I would so love to win the subscription. I have been seeing so much about this game as of late, and have been itching to try it. I have the original iPad though, and worry that it can't handle the game? I have an iPhone 4s, but I just can't see playing it on such a small screen.
There is nothing like having an Epic MMO to play while on the road or waiting somewhere.
fun little MMO distraction for when i can't get to my gaming rig, full blown mmo in my pocket, Combat, Crafting and different talent builds gives it some variety definately a wow clone, and it's done right for a pocket game. Not like I have anything else to do when I am at work
"All expectation leads to suffering" Buhhda
So you are intimidating that I was trolling. Not hardly. I did say the game was fun and it is, but I will scoff at any attempt to imply this is anything like playing a MMO like Wow, SWTOR, Lotro, etc, etc. To start off, the screen size alone is a dead giveaway to the limitations of such media. I will say I was surprised how much they have done with the game. I was certainly impressed.
The screen size? 13 inch laptops are not much better than a 9 inch iPad. On top of that the resolution on said iPad is amazing.
Wonder what the skins look like and wonder when the winners will be announced.
Meh. Guess the contest is kaput since there wasn't much participation.
