Rubies of Eventide is a free 3d mmorpg.

It has like 7 races.
25 - 30 classes

You can actually jump and swim. ( remember it's a free mmorpg so i'm suprised.)

You can summon too :P

Well, Atleast try it.
Took me 1 h too download.

And they got a PvP server by the way.
The battle system ..
Well the battle system is kinda special.
Yeah, Special..

And by some reason , People says that it's p2p.
That's bullshit. ::::02::

You can donate.
But it's not p2p.
And It dosen't have like Preminum accounts n stuff.
Atleast I don't think so.

    Yes, it's a great game based on skill points and a class system where some skills are easier to train in than others.  It has some innovative features not found in other games.

    Check also www.eventide.net

    The game if free to play based on the server and available space (may not log on and could be kicked), however $ 5/month is quite reasonable.

    I don't think the gameworld was designed for 3 digits worth of users at once.

    I'd play it again if I could play on a small server with a cap of like 30.

    Perfect example of a game with absolutely awesome ideas becomes unnoticed because of it's horrid graphics.

    Good for onRPG. ;-) Yeah, most the time people flame, in this particular instance we chose to mostly ignore.

    I liked RoE, but it was far too crowded. Like I said, low pop server would've been nice.

    I've played it for a while, and while it may not have exactly been my favourite game, it was still good fun. It definitly deserves more credit than it has gotten. But in the same term, like someone said before me, it was a game that was almost meant to be small and not succesful, it's games like these that spawn the absolute best communities and make playing at later levels a complete joy. If only the combat we're a bit better, I'd have happily signed on.

    Yeah, this was actually the 2nd MMORPG I ever played in my life. Back then I thought all MMORPGs were awesome and I didnt know what everquest was lol. Anywhoo, this game brings back good memories.

    P.S. after eSO comes out that will be the 40th MMORPG/MMOFPS i've played! image

    Ya, that was a major part of the reason why I didn't get into it. The other reason was that it just didn't feel like I was playing an MMORPG when the world is so empty.

    Well, I like RoE.
    And belive it or not.
    You get used to the battle system.
    And it got some pretty cool stuff.

    Like sometimes when you get hit by something big,
    you fly trough the air and land on your back.^^

    For people that have not played it.

    Give it some time, and you will get used to the Battle System.

    And , The new PK server rules ::::28::

    somehow, ROE is extremly laggy on my pc... and I don't see many people play this game

    I had a couple toons on there, it was a fair bit of fun when I played. I'm not sure what this combat-circle thing is though. When I played, the ranged damage tables were broken. The races and professions were fun. Somehow I just got bored of it after a couple weeks and stopped playing. I had a gimpy Paladin and a weird Duel-Dagger Infernalist, plus a fairly fun to play Ogre Pikeman.

    How much content have they added recently? I think what it comes down to is I was bored of slaughtering bears and stuff.
