I just wanted to say, EVE is a fantastic game and should be tried by all (its easy with the 14 day trial). Even on my crappy computer it runs well, although i do have DSL. I have had experience with a great many other MMO's, old and new, like EQ, AO, Rose Online, WOW, Guildwars, and COH. all of them were fun. I quit eve to try some new MMO's and none of them cut it after EVE. I suggest that you try the trial and press through the stupid tutorial (although i wish i had it when i started, cus it was just put in, because it makes the game alot easyer).
msg me in game if you try it, i will try to help, and if you get into it, i am part of a very active corp that is very newb friendly.

Yeah, EVE works incredibly well on most half-decent computers. 56k also doesn't have much of an issue with it afaik
And you are right, once you've given EVE a proper go, no other MMOG's can cut it.
Been playing for 2 years, and I can't actually see myself stopping. Its quite scary actually.
I just tried the trial and found it quite fun. The only thing I don't like is that the planets are the same size as my ship.
Lol I think you're talking about that bug that they are fixing soon right? Planets get stuck to ships, kinda freaky.

gfx is simply superb...

A must for everybody with a computer and an internet connection....
