Looking for a new MMORPG

Hello! Me and my friend play lot's of online games together and I have played countless ones on my own. Together we have played: SWG, L2, FFXI, and WoW. I have also played those on the list to include: EQ2, MxO, and countless free online games. What I have come here to ask is this: Are there any other good online games out nowadays besides the ones I have listed? We currently play WoW but it has become very dull. I have looked at trying out DAoC but I am not too sure. We would like a game that isn't a grindfest (even though all MMOs seem to be that way) Can anyone help us out? ::::06::

Postings on this topic are myriad. First, you will need to define what criteria you are looking for in a game. Looking for a non-grindfest game isn't enough (curious since you played L2 - the very eptiome of grind) - you need to clarify what characteristics you desire.

Perhaps the reason why you've played countless games is because you yourself have no idea of what game you wish to play; hence, since you yourself are uncertain, you are subsequently not enjoying any of the releases - old or new.

I am sorry I did not specify. Yes we played L2..we did not like it and quit it because of the grinding. I enjoyed WoW a lot and we would like a game that would have PvP. Just about any theme can get me interested as long as it is a good game. I just can't specify anymore. We are just looking for a good game that is out now and well..is fun. I will list some games that I am lookin into though: Saga of Ryzom, DAoC, AO. Now..out of those what would you pick?
