Fusang(TSW) vs WorldVsWorld(GW2)
for those of you who have played both, between the two, which was more fun?
and in what areas could they be improved?

Whats Fusang?
Fusang is a huge persitant warzone in TSW. 3 faction domination pvp that can hold up to 100v100v100.
Didn't try out Fusang in this past beta.
I'm just glad that mmos are now puting in these areas in their games now.
I have a feeling this will turn into, which game do you prefer instead of what you are asking for OP.....
Fusang is all about how many people you have. The Templars really showed what fusang was all about this last beta. In guild wars 2 you can actually stand a chance againts a zerg trying to take one of your servers keeps with arrow carts and trebuchets ect ect. But if you get caught outside of a keep then well you are going to get rolled hard.
Exactly..
.. But in a good way.
The result of this was quite predictable... the competition wasn't fair anyway.
Respect, walk

As a TSW fan, I voted
"Didn't play both".
I miss the option: Both are no fun (at least not longterm)
played: Everquest I (6 years), EVE (3 years)
months: EQII, Vanguard, Siedler Online, SWTOR, Guild Wars 2
weeks: WoW, Shaiya, Darkfall, Florensia, Entropia, Aion, Lotro, Fallen Earth, Uncharted Waters
days: DDO, RoM, FFXIV, STO, Atlantica, PotBS, Maestia, WAR, AoC, Gods&Heroes, Cultures, RIFT, Forsaken World, Allodds
Like TSW more, but wvwvw is far better IMO. But i have to agree with you. While both are interesting in a short while, i still find them be too small.
MMOexposed, you already made a thread between Rift's Conquest and wvw, so next is Fusang vs Conquest?
Truth be told, this is all kind off pointless. As i've stated many times, Planetside 2 stomps all 3 of them to the ground. So i say next thread should be "PS2 vs Conquest, Fusang and WVWVW"
I honestly haven't spent enough time in either to give a truly thurough assessment as to which is better: 1/2 a day in GW2 WvW and 4hrs in TSW Fusang, but from an early view I think most people will come to the same conclusion
The most obvious choice at this point would be GW2 WvW for several reasons:
1. It's alot bigger. Fusang is probably only the size of one of the 4 areas in GW2's WvW so in terms of size content, GW2 wins.
2. Geography/Topography and general map design variety is much more prominant in GW2. The map design layout in TSW Feels very stale and repetative. There are some areas that are more interesting than others, but overall not much variety.
3. There is more to do in terms of different types of objectives in GW2. TSW really only has 2 types: Capturing/defending anima wells (spawn points) and taking over facilities which are small warehouses with a giant robot that you take control of but that is restricted to staying and defending the warehouse so its more like an armed capture point. There are also some turrets next to the center anima wells. GW2 offers alot more variety in terms of different Objectives and types of capture points with supply camps, bases, sieges, and castles, as well as stoping Dolyaks and killing Mob Bosses to fight for you. Not to mention all of the things you can do with supplies (ballistas, trebuchets, castle/siege defense, upgrades)
Due to many of the reasons listed above, Fusang Projects just kinda feels like an oversize Battlefield/CoD map with some persistance and faction buffs whereas GW2's WvW feels like an entire World with many different areas, variety of things to do, and numerous situations to experience.
I had alot of fun playing both Fusang and WvW during the BWE's, but ultimately I dont think Fusang will come even close in terms of long term fun and replayability when compared to GW2 even when considering the ability to try many different skill roles/builds in TSW, which GW2 also has plenty of.
MMOs Played: FFXI,Age of Conan, Aion, Rift, SWTOR, TERA, TSW, GW2
Playing:None
Waiting For: Wildstar, The Repopulation, Archeage, TESO, Warhammer 40K:EC, EQN
We have not played Planetside 2 yet. But there is still hope. Every PvP which is open, persistent and territorial, and not pvp-fullloot everywhere, with huge fully safe PvE zones and even bigger PvP zones, will blow GW2s and TSWs PvP out of the water.

You... confuse me. You've described GW2s PvP and say that will blow GW2 out of the water? I suspect I'm missing something.
GW2 PvP: Open, persistent and territorial, check. Not PvP full loot, check. Huge, fully safe PvE zones, check. Bigger PvP zones, check. What am I missing?
Oderint, dum metuant.
I prefer storming keeps rather than capturing control points..so it's wvw for me.
Would be nice if OP actually wrote the differences between the two
The above is my personal opinion. Anyone displaying a view contrary to my opinion is obviously WRONG and should STHU. (neener neener)
