thats my day off from work so yay for me but to be honest i already preordered long ago and enjoyed  the short period of time i got which makes me want to play more . i will say that another beta sounds promising and yes id like to see it come out now but i also know the more time they take the better the game with guild wars 1 they made a good game that still has replay value. i expect great things from guild wars 2 but i believe that the game will come out broken and unplayable if they rush so i think all im saying is arenanet take your time i can wait but please more betas so i can get my fix lol

A 4 hour stress test 2 days before TSW opens. I don't think I'll bother. Looking forward to playing the game but this isn't enough to cause me to re-schedule things to play (US).

Time of day does give them a pretty good 'short-shock' stress test with all the Euros slamming the authentication serves all at once.

    Ah well.

Again with betas, stress tests and etc...Give as the final version of the game, this is becoming boring.

Did you know that there's a continent across the Atlantic where people also play games?

No, that's not another continent.  That's Texas on the other side of that lake.  Get over yourself.

Patience. We have our multi-layered cake, let us wait to dig in and savour it?

4 hours? Just 4 Hours, bah it's not worth our time!

ha! Who am I kidding I will be playing so hard the server will break down with me playing alone, there's your stress test ANET. I still have withdrawal from the last beta weekend... I want this game to come out so bad xD I think ANET should keep the pvp area open permanently like they did with the first guild wars public beta. That was more fun than these limited weekends.

Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one.

BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward.

Looks it is meant to stress in europe. Which is good. :)

Pffft.  If they really want a stress test, they'll do it on a weekend when everyone can be on.  Unless they intend to put everyone on a single server, there's no possible stress that can result from this.

I just want to hear finally from GW2 bout a release date please. Everything else is minor.

Hoping to have it released before Xmas

Besides checking the stability of the EU servers, they also could be checking if there are enough / too many German & French designated servers. Also will give the EU chance to participate in a Finale Event during their "prime time". So my advice to EU players is to stress them as much as possible.

As for this poor (retired) American player I will be hunting for pets for my ranger and maybe getting a few levels at the same time.

Not the best of timing for Europe either due to the European championships going on at the same time.

I bet the times are because nobody at ArenaNet wants to be in house 5 pm to 9 pm?

Is not areanet a Korean based company? Guild wars main developers are out of Washington..but still Korean company...we all know how those work out...most there load will be overseas...take a look at the past mmos and other games that were released
