With early launch on Friday, what faction/skillset is everyone playing?

At this point I'm looking at either a female Lumie or Templar. I'm not sold on either. Templars have the better Deck outfits it seems, but I don't particularly care for them being locked so I doubt I'll rock one all that often for it to be the deciding factor.
But the question I'm most curious about..
What are your skills going to be at the start? It takes a while to fully unlock two skills if that's your route.
I'm looking at Shotguns for primary and I'm undecided on my secondary. All I know is I want to make a PvP build around Close Quarters.
So.. Lumie/Templar Female with a Shotgun.

Illuminati. Going elemental/shotguns, specifically the Grifter Deck first. My manifestations, I had 5 different ones this past bwe, were pretty formidable in Fusang. I like the area denial role. My huge pink circle on the ground scared quite a few! It was fun levevling as well. Alt will be chaos/something (chaos seemed kind of OP).
My preorder has processed so I'll be playing Templars. I'll be starting with Preacher (Blood/Sword) to start earning the clothing.
That sounds quite fun, actually. Could be quite viable for point control in Fusang.

Vanguard. Best MMO world available although rough around the edges.
Doh, didn't understand your earlier heading. I think hammer/shotgun. However hammer/chaos was a pretty wicked debuff combo. Not sure if being 100% melee would be a good decision though.
And I'm really struggling with what faction to go with. Definitely Illum or Templar.
Templar. Was trying to decide between soldier and preacher (want both outfits and like both AR and sword). I'll probably start with preacher and work into soldier slowly with a few points here and there to get AR up.
Templar- Hammer/Shotgun (Puritan) - DPS
Illuminati- Assault Rifle/Elementalism (Mercenary) - Support
Dragon- Pistol/Blood Magic (Assassin) - Healing
these are just the weapon builds for the start, with eyes toward obtaining the faction deck uniforms down the line. i will have to supplement these with other skill sets of course, but these are all very viable through all three zones of Solomon Island.
Planning joining the ranks of the templars, Ill start out using claws and chaos then pick up blood magic.

Defenitly going Templar but for my first deck I am unsure. If you would of asked me Saturday night I would of said Pistol/Hammer but that was before I found the going fairly rough in the QL5 portion of Savage Coast when my time to kill ration drastically went down and my death ratio went up. So as of now im firmly back on the fence of what I want to play. I know I eventually want to unlock the Crusader Deck for its awesome suit though. Its a shame because the Pistol Animations are the best aesthetically pleasing I have found.
If anyone has any good recomendations for great (not good I want great) Solo questing builds I am all ears.

I'm still very uncertain.
I know if I can find a weapon combination aesthetically pleasing enough, I could work out a build. I'm just really having a hard time thinking of what goes with a shotgun.
Aesthetically pleasing to me is like Blades and Elem/Blood for a Spellsword.

I don't understand the deck outfits.
Do you only receive the outfit if you pick every skill in the deck "verbatim"?
So if I choose every skill except 1, will I not receive deck clothes? Also, how do you get deck clothes? Does the game just know that you have chosen every skill in their "pre-made class" and rewards you for doing so?
So...if I am to create my own customized deck...I don't receive any special cool clothes for doing so?

Faction/skill-set?
I am not 100% sure on any. I did enjoy rifle quite a bit in beta, but I never bought any other skills to combine with it, figured maybe shotgun for some more ranged action, or perhaps the magic to heal people and play dps/support.
Faction wise, I want to play whatever faction on whatever server that has the LEAST amount of people on it. I cannot stand to be on the side with 50% of the population while the other 2 have 25% each.
I figured Illuminati will dominatye because every server I went on, it seemed they were most popular, with Templars being 2nd and Dragon being a distant 3rd.
I ended up as Dragon an Fenris, because Templar and Illuminati, mainly Illuminati, had an ungodly amount of people.
So we will see!
I am entitled to my opinions, misspellings, and grammatical errors.
Going Dragon faction and sword skill to start. takes awhile master 2 weapon/skill types so not planning that far ahead. Can always change decks later but for the early game the swords AOE's and heals are handy for swarms of mobs.
Once you get every single skill from any particular deck (of your faction), you get that deck's outfit.
So if you manage to unlock every skill, you'll have every deck's outfit from your faction.
But once you've unlocked a deck's outfit, you can where it whenever, regardless of the skills you're using.

Dragim , if you arent sure what weapon to combine with shotgun just scoot through the decks, there should be 2 options using shotgun. You unlock deck outfits by getting the skills to get the decks, the tabs you need should show how many skills you still need and the skills are marked with a circle, red if you miss it, green if you got it. The outfit should be under the 1 piece outfit tab of your wardrobe (bottom tab)
You know its funny but many ways it hurts to know my cb chars will be deleted soon..

Dragon as is the rest of my small AO guild. Not exactly sure on the build yet, I guess a lot depends on what others would pick. But it most likely be either swords/blood or AR/chaos.
