Calm before the storm...

So excited! Can't wait to test out my new warrior build in sPvP!

    Looks like they aren't opening the servers 1-1,5 hours ahead of schedule this time...

    Seeing as it's a stress test i'd guess they'll open exactly on time rather than opening early and letting people filter in. They'll want the log in hammered.

    Question for you guys.  I have not played in any of the beta's yet but am able to play in the stress test today. I know the servers are down, but when I try to login it says "You are trying to login to an account that does not have Guild Wars 2 on it" something to that effect. Anyway I login to my main account and i see my GW2 pre-purchase from Amazon. 

    Is this is a normal error message when the servers are down or did something get goofed up?

    That's just the standard message when the servers are down.

    Have you registered the account through register.guildwars2.com? The error message you should be getting states that either there is no beta active at the moment, or your account isn't authorized to access it. If you're getting something else, you might want to check that you've got the account registered and beta key entered.

    Why are you guys hammering the servers? You know it's always hard to get in in the first few minutes. Why doesn't anybody just wait like half an hour? You'll be able to get in without any problems by then.

    Because Anet wants us to? It's a Stress test..sort of the whole point..

    I had no issues logging in but there are lots of people hammering the login server now and it's taking ages to port places. Guess we're doing our bit to help them with ther stress test :)
