MMORPG.com and Hi-Rez Studios have partnered up to give out 100 keys for the closed beta of their upcoming MOBA, SMITE!
Not familiar with SMITE? Read below for the game's basic details:
SMITE is an online battleground between mythical gods. Smite is similar to a traditional Dota gameplay with a few changes including a third person perspective and WASD movement. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session based 5 versus 5 arena combat, and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.

hehe, all MOBAs games are like this. Makes Wow look like a mature audience. The sad thing is these rude brats are our next generation. What ever happened to parenting?

Sure hope so, really tired of getting home from work and missing out on these promotions.
Any chance you guys could wait until later in the day, as in after the general populace usually gets home from work, prior to publishing the next giveaway? I'm sure it would help quite a few people who have been trying to get a key.
Most of them get snatched up by people who proxy there way into getting multiple keys anyway. Waiting a few extra hours before you start the actual giveaway will at the very least ensure a few of us who are legitimately interested in the game get a fair chance to get in and start testing.
People are selling these keys for 2-5 dollars a piece on popular trading sites, and are advertising that they got them from MMORPG.com giveaways openly. Seriously....
Are you doing anything to make sure that people who have already claimed a key in a previous giveaway can't claim another one?
I've been trying to aim these at around when most people get home. What time are you all getting on (EDT) that you're missing our giveaways?
Only a certain number of keys per IP (very very small amount) can be pulled from these giveaways and all keys we add to the pool are attached to the same giveaway page, so each giveaway is working off the same IP list. There really isn't much more we can do than that.
Hi-Rez Studios has generously provided us with over 1,000 keys total at this point and we'll be doing our best to get these out to those of you who are interested in trying out the game.
Again, if you've missed these giveaways multiple times, post in this thread roughly what time you get on here at the site (EDT, please) and I'll do my best to position a couple of these giveaways to hit those times.

I'm not sure where to the the EDT time, but for me it's 8:05 PST right now. I usually check around this time because it's when I finally have time to log on after getting home from work at 7:30ish. I have missed every single beta key giveawaay because by the time I can check, they are ALL long gone.
I check from Hawaii time, so I'm consistently late...I also thought this was old - so I completely skipped it if there was anything to claim at the time, since #10 already came out.
not everyone get shouted or sweared at even if they are playing badly.
In my personal playing experience, most ppl just kept silence and play on.
Improve your skill, start playing decently, you dont need to be amazing and no one will yell at you.
If you are trying a new god, played badly, fed alot and getting yelled at teammates, ACCEPT THE criticism because you are playing badly. This is a team focused game, your performance affects the outcome, naturally ppl will start talking if u are extremely bad.
Well you can't argue with them is a lost cause lol, just ignore them, that pissed them even more
it is just a game though no one should EVER get upset hahah
if a 90 year old women wants to play and have fun losing every game then she should be aloud to play without children swearing at her hahah
dont play pick up games if you get upset easily hahah

If she is playing very bad, she should be prepared for some questioning by teammates.
But If anyone is scolding bad words and being totally rude to a struggling player instead of putting it in a better way, he is a stupid kid and a$$hole.

I didnt get a key from mmorpg.com but i went to

log in to my acct filled out the beta app and within 3mins i was invited with a key.
