Ok, bit sad to see a game that focus on how you look, won't have a wardrobe at release, or maybe never... such a shame, specialy when this is something that should be in any game. Anyone know if a wardrobe in guild wars 2 will be added anytime soon?

Don't you collect your own wardrobe? Do want an actual closet in game or something?
A dressing room to view what things look like on my character would be nice before i bought it, Either way im still looking forward to this.
I never tried it during any of the BWE or Stress Tests but is there no Ctrl + Left Click on a piece of gear like WOW for example?
Sadly no. And it's a big shame. I could easely buy gear cous of the looks, not it's stats... but no option to view the gear, before you buy it
There will be a "wardrobe", a way to preview your gear before you buy it, one of the devs confirmed it awhile ago, i remember it because I was also very sad that there wasn't a preview option in the BWEs. Can't find the post right now cause i'm at work :P
If i remember correctly the dev said that they are working on it and it will be there at launch

Where was it said this wouldn't exist by release? They specifically stated on the reddit thread the exact opposite, that they've been working on it but it just wasn't ready to go for BWE2. They've got at least another BWE + all the time in between to add that feature.

I heard that they would add the option to look at the item before you buy it either on launch or post-launch. It was in an interview that I had looked at, not sure though.
But, what would also be cool, is to also be able to put dyes on it and see how it will match your armor color scheme.
That is good news, I missed that feature as well. Not the most important thing of course but still a neat feature in a game where looks is as important as stats.
There's a lot of stuff that people want in the game that I think would be nice but still consider superfluous, but were I a major MMO developer in 2012 a gear preview of some kind is not something I would release without. If Bioware was able to get it into TOR, then it's surely not this incredibly impossible undertaking that will prevent ANet from making planned improvements anywhere else. =P
As someone mentioned above, it's an important feature in a game where the primary attraction of gear is supposed to be its appearance.
Hopefully ANet will deliver on their plans to put it in before launch.
