Hey guys, just wanted to update anyone curious.
I preordered this morning and ive already gotten my email to enter, still a few more min on download. I never played the beta and have no clue really about this game.
Just wanted to let other players know that wait around till the last minute like myself... game is open now (early access) just incase anyone else is bored.
have fun! (hope i do)

hmm maybe the game isnt too popular i guess.
From what i can tell on the official forums, the players that have finished the download and playing said its really fun.
I got my early access email 30 minutes ago. Sadly, I'm at work and can't play for another 7 hours.
It is indeed really fun. It has a bit more polish than the closed beta had as of last week and it is really stable. I am quite happy!
I said F-it and bought the game just because of the unique setting. I mean it's the cost of a decent meal out with a tip that your body will digest in hours.
I also bought SWTOR and Tera... let's hope for the best.
As others have mentioned, maybe the "unhype" or perceived lack of popularity will attract a good community.
Oh well, i said Fookit also and just bought it. The meal logic did it for me although i spend more for meals (drinks) . ;p
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
U will not be dissapointed. At the bare minimum this is a 50 dollar RPG game with incredible storyline/PvE. That's how I am treating it at least, until GW2 comes out. After ejoying the closed beta, I considered it a good purchase/value. Sorta like a kick ass console game.
Anything Funcon adds will just be a bonus.
There is a mmorpg guild on Grim server. You will need to roll Templar if you wish to join though.

I preordered last night but couldnt start download til this morning, and its a 12 hoursish download for me (Im capped at 400 KB/s) so ill be playing late night. Know very little about the game and going in blind, should be fun
Keep your expectations low and you will be very happy. Just go with it.
Good for you, why do peoples now days feel the need to tell their business to everyone they don't know.
Umm why do you need to delete if you can just get a new one to replace it?
Hope you enjoy it OP
I'm just taking a break after a three hour session, everything is smooth as silk so far, getting a good enough FPS (70 tops, down to 40 in crowded areas), no bugs so far. Some nice little additions and improvements to what was already there, having a blast.
Treat it like a SRPG with coop elements and you won't be disappointed, story and atmosphere are its strong points which it does incredibly well, happy with the purchase.
There is a major delay with claimed pre-order items, they are taking hours to turn up, that's been the only problem. Most of the clothing is now sitting in the shop in London (Pangaea) so once you've earned some Pax head there, no guards nearby so you're safe if you're not a Templar.
Why would you do that? It's no less mmo that all others. Well, unless you mean it's because of the themepark part, which i agree with. Seriously, why are sandboxes always more mmo?
Let me just say that I'm not a big Sandbox fanboy, I'm happy with a well crafted theme park It's just with TSW there are so many cut scenes (good ones at that) that are best savoured, lends itself well to single player play, grouping, like most MMO's, is for harder content and dungeons. Doesn't make it less of an MMO compared to most modern titles and I would even argue that story is implemented in a far more worldly and immersive way than SW:TOR, at least for me.

This game is frigging awesome. No clone. Fully original. Sexy. Deep RPG. Loving it to bits! However it does require that you sink at least 2-3 hours into it and get... well... into it. It's not really for newbs though, nor kids.
