Looking for Solid New MMO

Ive played my way through City of Heroes, star wars: galaxies an empire divided,and WoW. But Im looking for a new one to spark a new interest, I want something totally new to me(at least out of the games I listed). I tried downloading the classic Everquest but I have a video card problem that they don't know how to fix yet. So if anyone has any suggestions For a new MMO a would greatly appreciate it! image

    He's already played SWG. :P

    If you want something COMPLETELY different, I'd say go with Lineage II... it's definately a full 180 from what you're used to playing... might be a complete let-down, or it might be the thing you're looking for.

    i was stuck at a similar place...and to be honest i haven't found something. i've gone backwards to a web-based mmo (zelderex online, see sig). i have the time to play it, and i dont have to wrap my head around another mess of an mmorpg. when something big and revolutionary comes out (not holding my breath), but when it does, i'll be there for it :D

    i suggest 3 of the best games to hit the genre

    Asherons Call (the first one altho the 2nd one isnt bad in fact out of the 2 its my fav)

    EvE

    and SoR

    these mmorpgs are great , and really try to redefine what it is to be a mmorpg , i assure you out of all the jaded and cynical mmorpgers that frequent this site most would agree that these are the best games to go with

    Eve's for Space geeks. I quit MMO because I got tired of the game style. I am now enjoying a refreshed start on things like FPS games and also waiting for TES: Oblivion.

    Well i'm almost sure you'll like both EVE Online and The Saga of Ryzom (I'm an ex-SWG'er)
    So give them both a try, they both have a free 14-day trial image
