I know it's the first day but TERAs players must have bags of money...
Chronoscrolls can be bought for $15 from EME and sold on the broker, they provide 30 days of game time, they work similar to EVEs plex system.
Currently they are selling for 2-3k which is the equivalent of 2-3hours of farming, so if I farm for 2-3 hours in one day I can buy a month of game time, heck if my swords drop from BT they sell for 5k, I can buy two months of game time with one dungeon run.
Anyone think it is just over saturation because it's the first day or it is lowbies who don't have a grasp on how little 2k gold is, if so, what do you expect them to rise to over the next few weeks?
Also, my subscription expired and I can't sign in for a day or two while I get my credit card sorted out...missing out on cheap game time. QQ.

Yea. 2,500 gold, they're giving them away but the market is gettng saturated so they have no choice if they want to move them. For all intents and purposes this is a clear out inventory sale and chronoscrolls may never come this cheap again. This is good news for people who like to play the MMO and essentially play it free. Because even in the language of ingame currency 2500 is nothing.
The reason the price is so low is because the gold market outside from gold selling is extremely bad rate. EME have been doing a extremely good job of keeping gold farmer away. So when gold selling sites are selling 1k gold for over 60 dollar? ya 15 bucks for 2.5k gold is extremely better deal lol.
The game is a huge gold sink so I'm not surprised everyone is trying to get that extra gold. I am disappointed at how low they are going for but it may go up after a while.
Right becuase they haven't already announce Chronoscrolls like month before the game was even released. And obviously it was a last minute effort to hide shrinking sub.....
I just caved and bought the game in the hopes to get to lvl 60 within a month and use these things to pay for my sub at some point. Can you use them once your sub expires, or do you have to be current and use them while in-game?

I am not too sure about that even though it was my first thought. I did hear one person in chat say they were activated for 24 hours in order to redeem a chronoscroll but - could very well be bs. I'd ask customer support directly.
Selling everything I got from drops, by the time I dinged 60 I had 5.5k, the going rate for chronoscrolls right now is 2-2.5k but I'd expect it will be 3k-4k by the time you hit 60, so, I think you could pay for your sub with them.
Customer support are pretty lenient when it comes to what they will do for you, I wouldn't expect EME to deny you if you ask to be temporarily allowed to sign on in order to redeem/purchase a chronoscroll.
I once asked them if they could un-bind my soulbound cosmetics because I didn't think it looked good on the character I put them on and they did it lol.
