I own a Mac, and I am looking for a trial I can do on it. All the ones I have seen so far are for windows. If I can get one trial thats free for the Mac, that'd be even more awesome.

You know, macs are great computers for graphics editing and stuff...
But if you want to game, get a windows machine. Everyone releases games for windows because it is the mainstream OS.
Now with 57.3% more flames!
Yea, im working on some stuff of my own on my mac with editing. But since I have a G5 processordesktop and a laptop G4 and they are so fast, i think it would be cool to play an mmorpg. I played WoW and its so good on the Mac.
Thanx for ur suggestions guys!
Oh, and btw, n25philly, no one asked u for ur fricken sarcasm so go in ur corner and and take that stick out ur butt.
mac ?!
do those things still exist ?
but seriously if ur gunna game get an amd w/ windows OS anything else is well sh*t , hopefully linux one of these days will be able to support directx better than at present ><
Its really sad, tho, how ppl think that Mac's are not good. I'll let u guys kno that the fastest computer on the market, that has not been Souped up or modified is the Macintosh G5, which I have. Its amazingly fast and has a great graphics card. Its not S***. I also have a windows, but i rather game on the Mac, so thats y I didnt ask u if the Mac was good or not, because I kno it is. I asked for any BETA TRIALS FOR MAC. Get it through to your nine inch noggin.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why people aren't helping you. Perhaps thats the nature of forums, people so diluted in their own opinions that can't seem to grasp the concept of helping the topic creator. :-/
As for the topic. I don't know any MMORPG's persay. However I have heard of things to like, emulate Windows on different O/S's. I will see if I can find anything, but if its true that things like that exist (I heard about people having trouble running Guild Wars after the Summer Update, using stuff like that) I would assume that you could run just about any Windows MMORPG.
Ok great. I really appreciate that u stayed on topic and tried to help me out. Ur one of the few ppl who actually care not to spam forums for nothing and just waste other ppl's time. Thank you.
What the hell... I just posted and the site apparently refused to acknowledge it. That could get annoying. Anyways, I found a site with some of the few MMORPG's released on MACs. Since my old post is gone forever, I kind of forgot the link. But here's a nice list of some older MMORPG's that apparently have MAC versions (that may or may not be as good as the Windows):
Everquest
Shadowbane
World of Warcraft
Lineage 1
Planeshift is in beta (or maybe even alpha, I can't remember), but I heard it has a MAC version also. Could be worth a try since its supposed to be completely free forever.

DOFUS I have never played myself, and it just went gold (so it does cost money to play) but I believe it has a trial. I think its browser based so it could probably work on all OS's. Worth a try I guess if your not busy.

Good luck on your hunt, sorry if I wasn't much of a help but your right, good MAC mmorpg's are hard to find.
Thanx dude, and dont worry, i kno how hard it is to find one for Mac, hell, thats what I've been doin! lol
I own a Mac too. There's tons of sites dedicated to porting over Games/MMOGs to Mac, unfortuantely the companies aren't cooperating much.
EVE actually isn't that bad of a port, takes about 2 hours to transform the files to a functioning subsystem. The problem being that you really need a windows machine to compile the files into a compatible format.
Just about any Windows game that can be "Run in a Window" has the potential to be ported much easier then a game that only runs full screen.

Ok thats cool. I think im gonna just have to try it myself and check it out on websites. Thanx for the info.
Thanx dude, hey, r u aris bionat from Franklin Township? Cuz if it is, Its me, RIP.
