Seems like there is a TON of active threads discussing female characters and their armor and such.
I'm all for having a hot topic, but I'd at least like to have it marked on my calendar in advance...

Can't see anything on the first page of forum topics.
I haven't read them all. But I keep seeing "Can I create a female character"..."Why is female armor sexist"...etc...those aren't exact quotes. Just examples of the types of threads I have seen pop up today. The discussion could be completely different frome the thread titles tho. But I've come here off and on all day and I THOUGHT I was seeing a lot of threads on it.

No, didn't think so.
I doubt these posts have anything to do with feminism, and far more to do with fans of rival games trying to taint the reputation of the other side.
The question should be what's all the fuss with those topics. This thread seems rather pointless. Peole will discuss whatever interests them or they have a opinion, hopefully that opinion is reasonable.
Edit- Honestly most people I meet don't even know what a "True Feminist" even is. As the one who informed me, though I think she herself was a bit ummm how should i put it? pushy? about her beliefs a feminist is someone who believes in laws and cultural judgement, best word I can think of to describe it,(example: It's ok for a guy to wear a Speedo but a girl wearing a string Bikini is probably going to ah, get a rather lot more negative attention. Just an extreme example) for women equal to that of men.
Yes there are "Feminazi's" as they are so popularly called but this just goes to show that every group has there nutsy extremist branch. Example, I am a Baptist denomination Christian, I do not in any way Endorse the actions of the Westboro Church. So in the future please do no make blanket statements regarding whole groups of people or attacking them. Like Poison said, you appear to not even have bothered to read the posts in those threads and just figured you'd jump in and try to inflame some controversy.

It probably wasn't even worth a thread, but it was kind of interesting to see something other than GW2 or TSW are the best game ever threads (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Most of the posters in those threads are men who are hypersensitive (or want to seem such) to their female counterparts.
When a woman complains about it, there isn't much I can say, but when a man does - I expect him to return his penis to sender. It's one thing to admit about the idea of sex being overwhelming at times, it's another to be ashamed of it... and frankly, pathetic.

I personally don't have a problem with feminism and all it entails I do have a problem when they don't acknowledge or choose to ignore all the benefits they get as a result of society trying to "correct" the imbalance, but I disgress.
Something I also do find funny is that some feminist tend to "hate" other women that don't necessarily agree with their POV. From my experience in gaming for example, they are some women that like making sexy female character becasue they enjoy playing as such, other like making sexualize male characters as well, but you don't see any guy complaining about the oversexualize males either (No claiming is at the same level as female sexualization in most case though).
