in Everquest II
After talking you with folks on the forums, I decided to log on with my Warlock last night...  After respeccing all of my traits and what not, something terrible happened...  I looked at my buff bar, and it said "Lightly Burdened, Casting reduced by 35%"...  Typically this happens when you die and have rez sickness and are missing a spirit shard...  Neither was the case with me last night, my strength got nerfed, or it is a bug...  The real kicker is that a self-buff spell called Dark Pact used to buff my strength just a tad, and I was never encumbered...  The shitty thing is, I have absolutely nothing in my inventory except for 6 empty 8 slot bags!!!  This really blows...  I asked around, filed a petition (which I haven't heard back from yet) and noone could explain anything...  Even if I stripped down naked and deleted all of my bags in inventory, I would still be encumbered...  I looked on the Warlock boards and couldn't find anything specific to my problem, and Dark Pact was completely changed to a power regen bugg instead of strength...  Anyone have any ideas?  I thought about buying some new gear to buff my strength, but couldn't find anything on the broker...  So, I rerolled a fighter last night...  Jesus...

    Funny thing about posting on EQ2 boards, *scratches head*, I kind of got banned for trash talking...  I started ranting about SWG right before I quit, and made up a story about Garza, the old SWG moderator...  I was suggesting a movie be made about Garza called,  "'Garza: fame, fortune and a crack addiction that ruined it all...' Monday night at 8:00pm on the Lifetime Channel..."  I thought it was hilarious, as did everyone else on the boards, but Garza didn't take too kindly to it...

    Do you have like 5 plat in copper pieces?  Cause I think currency has a weight in this game.

    Yeah wieght most definatley is a problem in this game lmao. That is why they have a bank in the first place.

    It is a good idea to always transfer those copper pieces into silvers, and silver into gold, and gold into platinum.

    3500 copper is nothing. after an especially long grind session in Pillar of Flames today i have 28k copper lol. once i had the group buffs taken off i could barely move.

    I remember when I started out in EQ, I made the "mistake" of helping out a higher level necro (10th lvl or so) in Nek forest. I was maybe level 5 at the time, but I tried to help him while he was getting beat on by mobs. Needless to say I drew 2 of the 4 or so mobs chasing him and got tentpegged into the ground. The necro was this guys 3rd alt and he was in a fairly large guild so he was pretty cool to me for trying to help. I ended up with a Lvl 5 enchanter with a FBR (Flowing Black Robe) and at 8th level he walked me through the Stein of Moggok quest. Also when ever he was on with his high level friends they would give me what ever copper they had on hand. Which I thought was cool, untill one day 4 of them dumped so much on me I couldn't move. I literally thought the game was broken till someone figured it out for me a half hour later.

    That being said, I like the fact that money is encumbering. It is just a minor realism thing but I like it nonetheless.
