Why YOU should play darkfall!
Many people have allready tried Darkfall and quit because of the population, the company and the grind. As you guys may or may not know, there's no grind anymore, you can get a pvp viable character within a few days. The company is still shit, but they did do a patch to fix some issues and it seems like they are listening more to what people ask(not everything, otherwise it woudn't be AV).
Now the population is rising, but it is still fairly low, thats where you guys come in; Darkfall is fun when there alot of people, and with the grind reduced to 0 and the latest patch which increased all drop gains, people can get pvp ready extremely soon.
Give the game another try, come and play! Now YOU can participate in all the fights, now YOU can be the guy killing those so called "good vets" that always have beaten you cause of superior stats and skills.
Join and begin playing and enjoy the game as it IS a good game.

As far as the company goes try this radical approach. Dont give a sh*t.
What I mean is play the game because you like the game not because the developer are tickling your d8ck just how you like it or not temping you about a future f(ck.

The OP Is right, they increased all skill gains by 20x, literrally and med gains by 10x.
The increased the drop of rares by 4x and lots of other things, the game is also free meaning you don't have to buy it, all you pay for is the sub and they dropped it to $9.95.
The plan is to keep it this way until they relase df 2.0
As much as I want to enjoy the game, its still not worth playing.
Grind being corrected is the right step.
They need to sell the game to someone else ..... as it stands now, I won't support AV. If this game wasn't so niche, and US based ... the gaming community would be carrying torchs and pitchforks.
I tried it, and I ended up uninstalling it after a few hours, just not my type of game.

Me too once. Then I tried it again and have been playing for over 2 months now.

Well, I personally think that you should not care who made the game as long as it's fun(and it is!), just try it out, play a bit. If you like this kind of open world pvp, then this is the game for you.
The question I wanna know still before trying it, would be, if these characters will moved over to 2.0? If not. I just wait for 2.0 and the limits armor etc will give to the current "no skill cap" and have everyone being the same carbon copy of each other at the top.
They said there won't be a wipe.
Saying it won´t be a wipe doesn´t mean that 2.0 won´t be a new game, and 1.0 will still be there as it´s own game...
If I had a working PC, I'd jump back in. I really enjoyed my time in DF a while back, and the increased skill gain and better drops would make it even more fun.
