So I had a key for the final BWE but my rig is having some work done to it so I won't get to participate. I missed all previous BWE's as well. Initially I was like 'well this blows' but when I think about it, missing all the beta events may not suck as bad as I thought it would. I've seen videos and whatnot but I think not having played the game may really make the launch that much more exciting for me. I'm happy for you guys that got to test it out, especially if you pre-purchased because it's never too early to start getting your money's worth, but in a small way I'm glad I'll be missing my last chance to beta test.

I'm happy that I only played 2hrs of the last bwe for a taste, still deciding whether to jump on this weekend or not. Due to the reset of chars this weekend and for release I'm leaning towards just waiting for the head start.
That's if I can keep myself away knowing its there on my pc ready for me.
i will wait for six months even after playing beta .in beta everyone said aion is so awesome but eventually it failed and had to go f2p
Aion started off strong but was plagued with bots which was demoralizing and became grindy as you leveled. Rifting and raids in the abyss were a blast... until they nerfed the portals and eventually patched so that abyss raids were impossible without being geared out... at a time when the player base was not geared. Given the core of the game was abyss raids, and abyss raids were not possible, the devs killed the game prematurely by making one bad decision after another.
Aion was pretty awesome at launch and anyone who missed its launch missed out on the relatively short time that it was fun to play before the devs began to meddle.
GW2 is going to evolve over time. The devs are going to add, remove and change content. If you wait to play GW2 then you could end up missing out on something as epic as the changes to EQ's original Kithicor Forest. It doesn't make sense to wait to play GW2 given there's no monthly fee, unless spending $60 on a game that you might only play for a couple months is a risky investment for you.
im using the beta weekends to set up my build and tactics... also honing my skills in pvp..
ill leave all the beautifull questing and pve stuff behind untill it gets released... else i might lose the "This game is so freaking awesome" feeling a bit

I know how great the PvE is... so not to spoil anything else, ill be only doing some sPvP this weekend to make a final dessigine on my class.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
I'm still a virgin, too!
I'm too busy with TSW now to bother with any betas. It's nice knowing I will have GW2 just sitting there waiting to explore for the first time. I feel really happy about the state of my mmorpgs for the first time in a few years.
I had a couple minor discoveries (Darkfall, for example) which didn't really pan out long-term. Now I have new stuff that's a lot of fun with more in the pipeline.
I will be looking forward to character creation choices and taking those first few steps into GW2.
You don't get as much benefit out of waiting with GW2 as you do with your standard subscription game. I mean, if it takes 6 months for a subscription game to be good, you've spent 90 dollars waiting. If GW2 starts off and isn't fully good at first, it's still ridiculously easy to get the box price worth of entertainment out of it... and you can play it on and off then play seriously after 6 months, and you haven't paid any extra.
I mean, eventually the box price will go down, but it's NOTHING like the savings you get by not playing a subscription game through any rough months.
It's a good thing, frankly. If you're even remotely looking forward to the release of this game, participating in the Beta Events honestly destroys most of the urge you have to log into anything else. And then when they're over, you have nothing to play for the next month. I both look forward to Friday as well as debate whether or not I should log on and subject myself to more waiting.
It might not be the next coming in gaming, but it certainly is good enough to hold a person's interest for a while.
very excited. Thankful too that GW will provide the mood music for me this time. Might still have to break out the scented candles though.
But yeah I'm happier about missing the events each day I get closer to launch. And on launch day I'll be completely stoked that I'm logging in for the first time. Honestly knowing myself I would have played the events literally nonstop each time and completely dulled the pve experience for myself which I'm really looking forward to despite all the pvp hype. Though I'm sure I'll enjoy that immensely as well.
