Nope we need our pint-sized overloard that we also use for soccer in the game, or we might not know if we are clean enouph. I mean who else is short enouph to tell hmmmm?
Still find the race ugly and annoying looking but now I can pretend they are aliens.
Actually the humans are the aliens here XD
Really?? Did they leave by ship and slowly forgot about technology or did they use magic?
Magic i suppose, the gods brought them to Tyria (the World is called Tyria as well as the continent, but there are other continents where humans live)
The way I see things is that in the GW universe it is kind of like a multiverse. There are various realities (of which we've only seen the Tyrian reality that the game is set in) separated by this protoreality stuff called The Mists. Now various entities can pass through The Mists to reach these different realities (and any time within those realities) via certain knowledge/powers and gaining access to the Rift (the exact center of all realities and time). The human gods traveled through the Rift and arrived on Tyria and at some later time brought humans through as well from a different reality where humans were native). So humans in GW aren't alien in the sense that they came from a different planet within the Tyrian universe but in the sense that they came from a different universe entirely.
Don't mind seeing smaller races, not to many of them though, one per faction is plenty. I'm not into the sci fi though, more of a blue clouds green pasture playground for me please.

Why do all fantasy mmorpgs always have to have such a silly vague weird background story with gods and magic and dragons and whatever. I thought it was because of SE Asian people liking this kind of stuff but it's in Western mmorpgs as well.
It really puts me off the story and therefore the game.

No way, the guy who wrote the lore for the game is probably totally mad at WoW for ripping gnomes off from him. Damn those WoW copycats. :T
This is only 1/2 the intro~ They aren't showing the personalized section.
Great summary. XD

This is also only the intro, the choices you make makes the movie longer, but they only taken the start of the movie.

wouldn´t that make them even more alien? xD
Wow! I thought it was just me but I felt the same way...
Felt like there was suppose to be something else said, kept watching the time and thought "but it's about finished I guess thats it...".
It is not the entire thing. Its part of the intro after creating an asura character. Here is the full movie.
