If you actually think this is an "insider" instead of a fake poster, you may be surprised.  I doubt the people that make financial decisions at EA even read gaming forums and I highly doubt that any "insider" would be privy to that information.

Remember that school project where a student picked a popular wikipedia subject, posted some unsupported new info, and it was picked up by the local news stations as fact?

    You've been had...

I like the part where he said the fans wanted us to develop this and not an MMO like WoW...........

Played pretty much like WoW to me.

So they fucked up with the bad engine, lack of content or actual MMO play, AND updates yet it's the fan's fault?

The fans wouldn't be complaining were it more KOTOR than a BAD WoW clone on a engine that make's WoW look like a holodeck.

The right sentiment.  The guy that got paid at this site who gave this game a 9/10 for longevity and an overall B+ for a mmorpg in his official review couldn't have been more out of touch as well.  Never touched on the core fundamentals for a mmorpg.

Yet, the majority of mmorpg enthusiasts strongly disagreed with what many thought of as that and other reviews from advertising sites being more akin to editorial misconduct; again for most if not all the reviews from advertising sites like this one.

The real fans, let alone mmorpg fans,  consumers, have just walked away, and in their wake, left the most honest and widely opposite reviews of TOR than was seen in any other mainstream mmo ever.

It turned out EALouse was correct 100% and nobody wanted to believe.

Grim Dawn, the next great action rpg!

Yup and I remember some fanatics even discussed possibilities to sue and imprison him image In the end all he said was correct. Still quite liked SWTOR though.

Everytime I see someone post something like this I always wonder, "How do they know...?"

    So, how DO you know?

That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!

I'm still enjoying the game, but then again, I'm truly a casual gamer, not the wannabe casual gamer that many on this site claim themselves to be.  Still, it can be amusing sometimes to read people's posts, telling me and others like me that this game is crap and we're demented if we don't conform to their idea of popular gamer opinion.

the difference is this reads like it was written by an asain gold-seller and the speculation in it is all over the internet already.  I did get a laugh from the suggestion that the game isn't enough like WoW though.

I don't know what is more sad people who pretend to be Bioware employees to give validity ro their hate or those who are so desperate for game to fail that they would believe just anyone who claims to be a Bioware insider.

I just resubbed, really don't care about public opinion. Gonna atttempt to not listen to media and forum reviews and make my own decision this time. Last time i quit, it was because my son was just born and i didn't have enough time to play.

Really didnt mind it when i did get a chance to play though.

OT: Not sure about this bloke, but who can tell really. He may be mr uber secret spy, or he may just be an attention grabbing muppet. Only time will tell.

Anyways, back to the swoosh swoosh of sabers.
