hello my name is jacob nice to meet you. i am currently looking for a new mmorpg to play because i always end up being dissappointed during gameplay. heres my general negative experiences with mmos. when i play an mmorpg with a quest "tracking system" i usually do pretty well, but everytime i play one of these i always stumple upon a quest that has to do with the main story that simply doesnt tell me where to go or the quest tracker doesnt work, therefore i am kind of lost. or ill play mmos where u have to thoroughly read the text dialogue to have any "idea" of where to go. personally in real life i am the type of person who hates getting lost/the thought of becoming lost therefore i had not knowing where to go in mmorpgs and if i cant figure out where to go i pretty much quit the game. i pretty much play mmos by myself so im heavily reliant on the game devlopers to tell me where to go in the game. in short words, id like an mmorpg with a solid questline that easily explains where to go for each quest or it will properly auto track u to the location. something pretty of course too wouldnt hurt, and of course free to play ( i dont mind freemium mmos or cash shop mmos)
thanks, maybe ill see u in game sometime

Try wow, it has been around for a very long time so has a superb amount of polish and very little bugs. If you manage to get lost in that game you must be doing it wrong.
He's looking for a f2p mmo.
I don't know which games you have tried/played, but here is a few suggestions I find to be pretty enjoyable as a whole.
- Atlantica Online
crappy company, but still something that draws me in. The game system is 3D turn based strategy game
- Path of Exile
Absolutely try if you like action rpg's like diablo, however this will be open beta sometime in mid-August, the developers and hosting company is indie company, so its a low budget game, however it looks amazing, I dare to say it looks better than Diablo 3 but thats just my refenrence.
- DC Universe Online
Action mmorpg, good character customization, quests are easy to find (they are marked on the map), have to buy extra campaigns and those comes with certain abilities for a new char. What i mean, for example Battle of Earth (i think it was called that) is expansion pack and it comes with Earth abilities, thsoe abilities cant be gotten otherwise except buying the expansion.
- Continent of Ninth
Awesome action mmorpg, various things to do, dungeon crawling (player killing happens when you intrude someone else dungeon and kill them), pvp happens in arena, crafting system, stamina system
I know you asked for mmorpg's, but I wil throw in a suggestion for mmofps game
- Blacklight Retribution
Not a typical, one in a dozen mmofps out there, HyperRealityVisor -system which is basically a "wallhack" in other games but it is built-in system in BL;R although there is restrictions of using it for example you cant shoot while its acitve, it has cooldown and also a use time and the animation to put on/ take off the visor is pretty long so if you are surprised while going into or off from HRV you are pretty much dead it adds some tactical play to the game , pretty high learning curve, really fun to play, MECH suit (called hardsuit in game but its basically a mech xD ), you can be as powerful at lvl 1 as you can be at max level (i have no idea whats the max level in there now) <-- you can purchase premade weapons from shop for 1 day got 200 GP (cant purchase permanent premade weapons, it takes 2 games to get 200 GP or 1 really good game), weapon customization <-- this is prolly the biggest deal of the game
I am currently playing Blacklight Retribution and Continent of Ninth. If you decide to try either of those games give me a pm in the forums, I can give you instructions how to play and even play with ya.
Try Granado Espada
Was about to say WoW as well, but since he's looking for F2P, here are some ideas:
EverQuest II does use a tracking system as well, but only up to level 30. After that you do need to figure out things abit yourself (but eq2.wikia.com can help a lot and EQ2 has a buildin browser
Fallen Earth uses a full tracking system. I played it and didn't like the X marks the spot feeling that it gave.
Same goes for RIFT. Though nog F2P, you can play free up to 20 (so I heard).
Also, most newer Asian MMO's (Perfect World MMOs come to mind) use a full quest tracking system, some even make it very easy for you with auto-walk to the spot you have to be...
If all goes "well" swtor should be free to play soon and be exactly what your looking for
Hope this suggestion helps,
Nith.

Hi Jacob, it might be worth mentioning which game specifically you've tried and enjoyed (or not enjoyed so much) in case there's anything similar which you may have missed.
