Dark & Light - Any Good

Hi guys, I am getting pretty sick of the samey MMOs out there and stumbled across DnL. I've checked out some screenies and I have to be honest I ain't conviced? Probably a silly question in this forum but is the game actually any good compared with the likes of WOW, EQ2 out now and DDO & RF Online coming out next year?

I've read up on the game and I have to say it sounds incredible however I've just seen some pics on MP and I am beginning to have my doubts.... :-(

What is the general feelings in here cause I want this game to rock!

    you say you have only seen screenies, if you looked more into what the game will have more then what it looks like then you might want to look more into it. the graphics are improving fyi and this game is going to be much different then any other game. again i say to look MORE in to what the game will have, you will be convinced.

    Read the FAQ on the official D&L forum: www.darkandlight.net to get an idea of what features the NPCube plan to implement. Then read the various posts on the subject in this forum to get a feel for the varying opinions on whether NPCube will actually pull through on the execution of these features.

    To compare D&L to WoW, EQ2, etc is comparing apples with oranges. I'd say that D&L is more comparable to DAoC (RvR). Whether or not it realises such potential is for another debate (see other threads).

    DnL will be a great game if they can ever get to the point where it will be ready to sell in stores. however at the November paid beta it will be more along the lines of Mourning than any other MMORPG I can think of because that is the only other game that official tried to get the players to pay for their beta. Wait about 3 to 6 months after release and you may get a kickbutt game.

    Yeah i read very little info about it and i would really like some more info about this GAME!!!

    The videos and SS ive seen are great BUT how about the game play?

    Anyone know if they are going to release beta info soon? (lift the nda?)

    If they realy want people to play or be more  interstead in this game they

    really need to post more info on game play( classes, quest, UI, Mobs )

    not asking for it all but tid bits of info more often would be niceimage

    Maybe a class a week or spell.... something......image

    ah, if he gave an explanation to waht the link was i wouldnt have been as outraged ::::02::
    still no point to that link though, he posted it in three different threads... thats just what a jackass does.
