I don't understand how people say these graphics suck. I really don't understand some people and their logic.
What will he do next?

ALOT Of the magic graphics (me being a necromancer does magic alot) ..yes as i was saying ... alot of the magic graphics are lousey and alot of the armour is ugly as sin, following a green arrow is a bit ... well .. childish , other than that its a fun game to play with people you know.
Do you play any other characters then a necro? Don't you look around while you play the game, or are you that narrowminded you only look 2 feet in front of you?
People like you shouldn't even reply to a subic like this. I'm sorry it's not World of Bullcrap, or EverCrap.
What will he do next?
Spell effects should be simple, to increase frame rate. You don't want people to be able to abuse frame rate to win matches... A Guild tactic starts to become dropping 8 super flashy meteor showers to try to get enemy to crash out. Or their machine at least lag behind so they can't move out of effect range. So every person you gain by having awesome spell effects would turn away a person with a lower end system.
Good graphics doesn't mean ugly or pretty... it simply means the polygon count is high amoung other things, such as things aren't blocky.
I never really take graphics into much consideration... because once you play the game for a bit the graphics simply become average or your "norm" Now it can be hard going backwards, but the benifits from moving foward in graphics don't last... In fact if you always played the game with the best graphics you could be ruining your enjoyment of other games. IE Black&White tv seemed fine to everyone... but if you saw a color tv... you were ruined. So if you only have a Black&white tv and you friend let you barrow his color tv for a week... you'd be quite unfullfilled when you had to return to black and white.
But as far as my memory goes, every game I ever played I considered the graphics average. I remember donkey kong country. In my head... I still think it has good graphics (haven't played it for 10years or so).... Of course if I tried to play the game again today... I would probably change my opinon.
Hot-Latino first of all what is lousy about the magic graphics, what would you want to see? They have already said that they are working on new graphics for armor (ex. 15K Necro Tormentors set that has been discussed into the ground...which is what I am sure you are a little bitter about) But if this is a discussion form please add something that is useful or constructive besides a feeling. Secondly what does "following a green arrow" have to do with graphics, please stay on topic.
I believe the magic graphics are more than adequate for this game and some of them are amazing. I think though there is room for improvement with the water magic and mesmer spells. Also attacks using an elemental weapon would be better if they made it the color of the element instead of just red.
Also Djin you have to be open to other peoples points of view, you can not just flame them
If you are actually looking to find out why people think the graphics "suck" and not just get a love fest of people saying "you are right, I do not know why people think these suck", then there has to be some counter views. While I would agree that Hot Latino did not add a whole lot, he gave you his reason. Let people speak their peace then just provide your counter as to why you feel different.

I agree that the graphics own but ur pic doesnt show how good the graphics are half compared to the screenies i take :P
