How "controlable" is the fighting?

I was curious what the fighting is like in L2? I've played many games, and alot of them, IMO, crap simpley because u don't really control your fighting at all. You just point, click, and wait for the enemy to die. So, I was wondering what the fighting is like in this game. image

It's a point and click MMO as well

You've got different skills to use against the MOB/Player but it is a point and click. Most MMO are these days

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

Well except this one doesn't use the WASD buttons to move, just like En1Gma said, point and click (Diablo 2 style).

I'm not sure what you mean by "control your fighting" If you mean always "clicking" to take a swing at someone, that would get old and tiring very fast.

You control your fighting in this game by targeting, and then attacking. While you attack you can use a variety of skills or... if you are a mage, spells... I would say that the mage is the character you always have to be doing something otherwise you don't attack (well.. I suppose you can keep your finger on whichever button is assigned to whichever spell and just continually cast).

One things I like about this game is that the combat is fast. There are also many "lights and sounds" for your viewing and listening pleasure.

Just read some reviews before you try it. This game isn't for everyone. And, since it has been out for over a year (18 months or so I believe) the noob areas are a bit light. You would be better off going to a higher population server (first 3 servers should work) in order to meet people.
