More of the same i personally hope the COD series dies off quikcly... it has no place in the MMO world
Why would you care about a CoD MMO, when Activision Blizzard are already working on a Scifi MMOFPS for the next gen consoles next year. (I honestly believe this is what Project Titan was originally before name change)
when it comes to FPS, SciFi theme beats out real world theme.

The reason I find it interesting is mostly because of the anything can be an MMO just add Online to the end of the name. Also because of the crazy laws in China regarding consoles and video games.

WoW was never really any good either.. it only did well because they could skew sub numbers coming out of asian time card countries.. The other thing they do real well is called audio visual entrainment.. Or brainwashing to the layman..
IMO - CoD is the WoW of first person shooters.

Um Call of Duty is already an online game. Most people I know play it online with friends rather than single player....?

I disagree. they are working along side Bungie to make this new MMOFPS. Bungie the makers of HALO the GREATEST FPS OF ALL TIMES AS OF NOW Are working with BLIZZARD TO MAKE A MMOFPS FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLE!!

huh? thats a fucking dumb statement there my friend. You dont give credit to where its deserved. Halo changed the way FPS are now days. Even CoD wouldnt be like it is today if it wasnt for Halo.
Halo deserves the credit here.....

Planetside has been the only real evolution in FPS's in my view. It'd may of drawn some of its visual conception from a game like Halo or Starcraft but the original Planetside set standards that weren't even ready to be met.
MAG attempted the same type of thing for consoles. Pushing out of the box of the 16 on 16 maps and 64 player count battles. Pushing the numbers, pushing the design of matches.
PM before you report at least or you could just block.
Nothing dumb about the statement a few things come to mind, first Halo is a microsoft/xbox exclusive and therefore could never reach the masses as COD does as a matter of fact I've never played Halo because i tend to not play offline games on pc and I don't own or support X-Box and I'm sure I'm not the only one who fits this mold.
Next since the poster doesn't say what criteria he thinks makes COD the WOW of first person shooters why just assume he is saying that COD is changing the way FPS are played???
