So with the final stress test approaching, I was left pondering over my final four hours prior to release.
Over the BWE's I have planned what elements of the game I wanted to see and what I wanted to leave until release.
For the final Stress Test I have three main goals.
Train the "significant other" so she doesn't irritate me with questions on release (not her first mmo but she's never stuck with the others third time lucky)
Try and work out an efficient way to level each crafting tier with a Material count, idea being, 1-25 refined material 25-50 components 50-75 inisgnia 75-100 discoveries using previously crafted materials.
Testing the reliability of certain thief skills that seem to miss too often.
What will you be up to during the final test before launch.
Maybe she doesn´t like MMO´s and she feels like you´re forcing her to play them?
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

Maybe that's why she doesn't stick with them. Doesn't sound like you're patient enough. You gotta expect lots of questions from her if she hasn't even tried it yet, and if you want her to play with you, you should be more than glad to help her.

It feels great living in EUI guess you are not from Greece or Spain
You don't need to blame that problem on the EU, just so you know. :P

I think she's lucky. I want my bf to play GW2 with me but for some weird reason, he doesn't like MMOs. O_o He's more of a movie fan. I would be the one to teach him how to play GW2, lol.
fine tune char creation is number one on my list.. also need to make 100% sure I like my race/prof combos for live... other than that just run around =D
I choke my self while i masterbait, so probably accidently falling off Rata Sum.
thats not hard(no pun intended.. or maybe it was) There is one vista with a pain in the ass jump that ends in falling all the way down.. at least I found out you can teleport while falling =D

surprisingly she was able to pick up the last two of her own accord, and not like them. The thing which she didn't like was that My main that occupied most of my time on those games was a high level and so was segregated from her lower level character in terms of content. We recently played Diablo together for a bit and stayed at the same level which was nice so she is into the rpg genre. Fortunately arena net have put in place an awesome level/sidekicking system and a game with loads of non linear stuff in the world that she'll be more into and of course no sub makes it more appealing too.
Thank you for the concern though but the pressuring into stuff is definately the other way round in this relationship. (parties where we no nobody there but have to go???)
No real plan. Also, who said this will be the final stress test?
Given Anet's typical testing schedule over the past few months, and that launch is in 23 days...it seems likely. Also I think they used he word final in one of the announcements somewhere.
Sadly, I'll be working until near the end of the test.
ArenaNet has neither confirmed nor denied that this is in any way the FINAL Stress Test. The title of this thread is misleading, as it suggests it knows something everyone else doesn't --- yet it is merely the author making a bold assumption.
Remember, this Stress Test was rather sudden. In comparison to other tests, which at least were announced a couple of days in advance --- this one was barely even given a 24 hour notice.
Furthermore, this test is happening on a Thursday! They've never held one on a Thursday before! If anything, this raises the alarm that maybe we can expect several Stress Tests peppered at random times throughout the entire month of August.
I plan on being at work, lamenting the fact that I can't play while hating all of you who posted before me and those who post after me with plans of actually playing during the stress test.

necro this time.
If it's not broken, you are not innovating.
1. Going to my dentist for scheduled check-up and cleaning.
2. Go to my local Terrapin brewery to support my spouse while she and her teammates promote their roller derby bout this weekend.
3. Drink lots of beer.
4. Profit.
5. Return home later that evening and sober up reading about the stress test.
Cheers!
MMO Vet since AOL Neverwinter Nights circa 1992. My MMO beat up your MMO. =S
Start a Warrior and a Guardian and hope that I like one of them because I LOVE the Norn cultural heavy armor.
Ugly colors, but still... xD
You can drink beer AND play the stress test - that's what I'm planning to do =P
Respect, walk
Are you talkin' to me? Are you talkin' to me?

I'll be working , poor decision to have a stress test on a work day like this. Seriously, bad!

There is no way this is the final stress test.
I'll play with the character creator and if there's time I'll try to solo in WvW (is there anything capturable by a soloer?)
my review of GW2
Just the Flags, takes 3 person team for camps 10+ for small keeps 25+ for middle and like 50 for the large one
Think I am just going to make a toon and run around killing stuff, exploring, etc.
No hearts, maybe some DE's, no personal story.
Just exploring and gathering.
Oh and probably taking a lot of screenshots.
I want to explore as many of the starter zones as possible that I haven't (Char, Norn mostly)
Kegball
I was planning on pvping and maybe even record it but I might not make it in time
good shout! I'd forgotten about this

yeah i wont be able to play =(
I'll try some of the jumping puzzles and then I'll get my ass beaten in PvP...
Then I'll put myself to sleep until the 25th.
Norn is my favorite startzone.
