Just wondering which MMMORPGS accept debit cads/ solo cards as i am unlucky enough not to own a credit card but have a debit card and i am only aware of DAOC that accepts them, and any help would be appreciated.
As long as it's a debit card from a major company like Visa any of the games will accept it. I don't have a credit card either and have used my debit card for every MMO I've played.
So if i put my Debit card code in instead of a credit card it will accept it?
My build: Sapphire Radeon HD 4850, Asus P5GC-MX/1333 Motherboard, 4gb G.SKILL DDR2 667MHz RAM, Core 2 Duo e7200 CPU, 250gb Western Digital SATA Harddrive, Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit.
Debit Cards and Credit Cards are treated exactly the same way.
If you go into a Walmart and use the card scanner and mistakenly choose Credit Card as the option it still works fine. In fact I think Credit Card is the better option when using a Debit Card rather than choosing the Debit Card Option anyway.
But debit cards lack the 3 security number as well as an Expiry Date which are generally a requirement for Signing up. I don't really see an option to charge something to debit. If you could point it out to me, I'd be greatful.
Edit- this is of course referring to online purchases.
Personnally I think the pay by phone options are the best, the ones that just charge your phone bill, but unfortunatly the only game I know of that uses that option is Graalonline.
I use a Visa gift card...for FFXI..and when I played PS and EQ2 it worked as long as there visa, yes they will FFXI will anyway XD so Im 100% sure they will^^

My Visa Debit Card I got from my bank has the 3 digit security code and an exp date. It is identical to a credit card. You might be thinking of some crappy grocery store Debit Card. People who get those are usually too stupid with their money to be able to maintain a bank account so they can't find any bank that will take them.
I deal with these idiots all the time working for Directv. First they don't pay their bill on the the due date, and then after the near 30 day grace period is over and we turn them off they call up and are pissed at us because they can't make a credit card or check payment over the phone and their Piggly Wiggly grocery store takes 4 days until a payment made there can reach us.
I really hate people who can't handle a bank account.

Before you end up insulting a whole lot of people, In Canada, NO debit cards have the Expiry Date or 3-digit security number. All Debit cards that are given by banks *Grocery stores do not hand out debit cards* do not have this number. For us, a credit card is completly seperate and is handled differently then a proper bank account. Hence my confusion. Also up here, every store does however generally have their own Credit Card which is odd, making the two-countries backward in this respect.
