Question about the buddy trial..

in Final Fantasy XI

Alright, so I let my pal use the buddy key that came with my box. Now she's addicted and I have a couple questions.

1) Will the key allow her to keep subscribing without buying a box? I was told it carries over to the base/RoZ account but I'd like to get her one if need be.

2) When upgrading it, if needed, is it possible to carry over your trial character? If so, how would one go about doing this?

    1. as long as she pays, then yes...she can
