Final Fantasy or Everquest? Which will you choose (it doesn't really matter, wait, yes it does).

    FFXI is the worst MMORPG i have ever played, and Ive played 18 of them.

    I wonder about the ones who say it is the worst. You probably have a hard time with the battle system being as you need to be a part of a team and not a one man band. It also takes patience and an ascthetic mind to enjoy what it has to offer. IT HAS A STORY. THAT I AM INVOLVED IN, and I still feel like I'm in a world with thousands of people.

    Indeed. FFXI is *very* group oriented. If a group is patient and puts
    the interests of the party ahead of their interests, they kick ass. If
    people are prima donnas who just want be the star of the party and
    grab what they can get and screw you, they will get their asses kicked.
    Some of the personality types I see on this board will likely have
    difficulties with that...

    FFxi is wonderful if you have the time to play it.  Unfortunately I don't.  I can't really say which one is better since I never played EQ2 once i quit EQ.

    Its not that working in a group is the problem.. its the whole being forced to group to do ANYTHING!. thats the problem..

    FFXI is a beautiful game!. but in order to fight anything you need a full group of completely competent players (everyone has to know what to do when to do it and yadda yadda or your xp is garbage!)
    -thats not fun for a lot of people

    FFXI by far...

    Eq2..just sucked, if I hade to go back to Eq1 or Eq2...it would be Eq1 XD

    FFXI is great fun, must ppl hate it because you have to work, and most ppl hate Teamwork, or working they want a MMO to be easy like WoW or Eq2....

    I mean both WoW and E2 are easy to lvl in, and dont take much to make money...


    FFXI is great, you have to work, without working a team you ____ XD

    FFXI wins by far
