En Masse Entertainment has released a new TERA video that features a look at the updated skills for both Warriors and Lancers. The updated skill sets will arrive with the release of The Argon Queen in late August. Enjoy!

Playerbase took a nose dive after the first month and is in a steady decline. Most players just don't want heavily RNG based games anymore which is a leading cause of the decline. Add an extremely limited endgame that is based entirely around gold farming (so you can take another jab and enchanting) to the crazy amount of RNG and you have a failed game in the making.
Don't get me wrong... the games combat is fun as hell and the graphics and "feel" of the game are amazing. But the soul crushing RNG that IS the enchant/masterwork system is causing players to give up.
@StSynner I agree. I have to add that the RNG is not the only reason I ran away from TERA.
The game does a great job in drawing attention but retaining it seems to be the problem. I would have loved to have fluff content, aside from combat. Europe (as opposed to NA) is getting the short end of the stick too.
It seems "creepy" to me how the zones and the world seem. It's all pretty (truly amazing) but don't go near it. Everything has been carefully placed as to enhance visual enjoyment but it serves no other function. There is nothing off the given path to explore. There are no fun easter eggs to find. Without these things the game seems to me like nothing more than a really-really-pretty-looking-glorified-combat-game with tacked on chatting functions. Massively Multiplayer Online Combat Game. How long does such a game last? Look around the servers. Heck, look at the S-Korean, Japanese servers....They all paint a clear picture.
If they wanted my sub money they should've come up with something better than only gear grind to keep me paying. Like a living, breathing world...the reason I keep coming back to MMORPGs and trying the newer titles and hoping one sticks...

Diablo 3 was the first big hit that TERA took. I've noticed more people transfering over to the more higher populated servers. I can definitely see a server merger coming in soon. I use to say the biggest problem with TERA was the lack of end game content but now end game content sort of worries me due to having to enchant my gear all over again with the new tiers. RNG is definitely a killer. I was close to rage quitting the game trying to masterwork my weapon (currently at 96 attempts). Some players took over 300 tries and others less than 10.
The combat is great and the massive GvG are extremely fun but the gear progression is a nightmare.

ive been waiting for this to happen, or at least a rift style desperation sale where the game becomes $5
