First of all, I must say that there hasn't been a game since before World of Warcraft was released, and before I knew how terrible it was, have I been so excited for a game as I am now for Guild Wars 2... And I really disliked the original game.
However, enough about that...
My question is, since this games WvW is very similar to the RvR in DAoC... Are there any form of notifications in WvW when a player kills another player?
Because that was one thing I enjoyed alot in RvR, was seeing the killspam, and getting filled with fear when you started seeing tons and tons of killspams from the players of the most infamous gank group.
Is there anything like that in this game?

I don't think there is.
I'd like to see this. However I actually really like the system of not seeing your enemies name in WvWvW.
But some sort of information just letting you know an enemy player killed a friendly player in x area would be nice, so you could find the action easier.
I did not see any notifications pop up when I was Wv3.
Mainly because everyone was titled 'Sanctim of Rall Invader' as an example.
You cannot see any of the other server's player names.
I knew I killed someone as I stripped their rally bar to nothing. That and I also saw a sparkling loot bag pop up next to my feet.
No there will not be any Kill Name Spamm..
Missed chance i would say.

There is NO killspam in this game. All players are labeled only by the server they represent, so when it says "Killed ***** Player", it'll be the server for the ***** part. You can set up a combat tab for chat like that if you want, but it's not spamming on screen, in world chat, or anything of that sort. In fact, kills are VISUAL. You can see that you killed someone. That's about it.
