Firefall: eSports Toolkit Announced

Red 5 Studios is preparing an "eSports Toolkit" for Firefall frag fans everywhere. The kit includes spectator modes and streamlined shoutcaster controls. The team has released a video to show off the unique kit that "takes competitive gaming to the next level".

    There's nothing wrong with E-sports.  It just adds to any game an extra layer of competition and viewership.

    you mean a worse community similar to other MOBA games? people who think you suck and try to get your account permenantly banned for being an unskilled player? get attention to all the trolls thoughout the world, fucking up your PvP match one queue at a time?

    After hearing about this, I've immediately uninstall this game because I hate E-sport games with a furious passion. I've had a taste of this pathatic e-sport genre and I never want to play any type of e-sport game again.

    Esports has been one of Red5s top priorities since the beginning. When ever u interview them its like the first thing that comes out of their mouths. Its part of their plan to increase longevity and of course get more money

    havent played it yet but i still think that tribes is way more of an esport game then firefall will ever be.

    This happens in every team oriented competitive game, not just games that happen to be an E-Sport.  People would shit talk in Warhammer, SWTOR, and WoW battlegrounds as well.  It happens in TF2 and even super monday night combat, as well as unreal tournament and counter-strike.  Think about it: you have a bunch of nerds playing an online game where they can hide behind their computer screen.  Of course they will start talking shit at a moment's chance..there is nothing stopping them.
