in Guild Wars 2

Hello there.

 

I have been trying to pre purchase the Guild wars 2 Digital Deluxe Edition via [link removed] but I keep getting error messages; when I try to use my debit card I get "The credit card information you entered was invalid. Please try again," and when I try to use paypal I get "An error occurred finalizing your purchase."

I really need some help here. There are only 10 days left.

 

Any ideas? Sent ticket to support but waiting on response.

    Have you tried calling your credit card company to make sure they haven't put a block on you or the vendor you are trying to use?

    Only time I saw this was when they were having issues on their end prior to the first BWE. Shouldn't be happening anymore at this point. I'd call your credit card company and also send an e-mail to Anet.

    Or see if the brand of credit/debit card is acceptable.Also check their support forum for other people having problems while trying purchase GW2 with card lets say for example Visa.I had similar problems some time ago while trying to use Visa Electron card with another game company.Card is valid,with money etc.Their support simply recommended to use name of American Express with my Visa card info and problem was solved.Go figure out what kind of payment system they have...

    1) Try contacting your credit card company

     

    2) Try contacting Arena.Net or NCSoft's support (bottom of their website)

     

    3) Ask your mother if she's locked her credit card.

    Did you get the error several times from trying repeatedly?  If so the purchase will be blocked.

    This happened to me, here's how I fixed it.

     

    Start by contacting GW2 customer support (They have a live chat thing on the site at certain hours of the day, just use that).

     

    Tell them what's up, they'll "unblock" your ability to buy the game for 24 hours.

     

    Give your bank a call or whoever issued the card, ask them why purchase isn't going through.   Theyll end up doing something similar, unblocking the purchase attempt for the next 24 hours.

     

    I waited a couple hours afterwards to make sure whatever changes they made had gone through.

     

    Then I went and tried to buy the game and was successful.

    I had the same thing happen when I was using firefox.

    I used IE browser and it worked fine.

    This was the 1st time I ever sae Firefox fail at something and IE worked.

    Look up Agenda 21 as well.

    I had this problem but could not resolve it through my bank or by switching browsers. I was able to resolve it though by contacting NCSoft Support through the live support chat feature on the gw2 website.
