Also, I can't figure out which account I bought GW2 on. I had 2 accounts. Is there a way to tell?

You mean the 4 numbers? That's normal, everyone is allowed to use any name they want, if the name is taken then a 4-digit code will be used to identify the two users with the same name.
Block the trolls, don't answer them, so we can remove the garbage from these forums
No, I just mean my whole username is a ton (more than 4) letters and numbers. Idk why because that definitely wasn't my username.
Also, still wondering if there's a way to tell which account purchased the game.
Don't know what to say about your first problem. It's been so long since I made my account, but nothing like you describe ever happened.
As for your second question. You have 2 guildwars accounts and you're not sure what account you applied your GW2 key to? It would be which email address you used. Don't know how to help with that one.

This is the reply i got from support about the problem:
I am very sorry to hear about all the confusion you ran into with this issue. It seems you logged in using your Guild Wars 1 account information instead of a Guild Wars 2 account. This will show your display name as numbers as the display name is meant to be used with a Guild Wars 2 account. Since you haven't set up a GW2 account and linked your GW1 account to it yet, you don't actually have a GW2 display name set. Luckily this is really easy to resolve. Once you purchase Guild Wars 2 just follow the directions at http://support.guildwars2.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8982 to register and link your GW1 account with a GW2 code. When you do that you will be given the chance to select a display name. After you complete the registration process your display name will update from that number to the name you select.

TL;DR You have the same email on GW1 account and u didin't link the GW2 to that account. It then just didin't create account for GW2 and you need to do it so that you link them.
