Is it just me, or does anyone else think that G4 has gone down the drain since they merged with Tech-TV? It kinda pisses me off since Tech-TV alone was awesome and G4 alone was awesome, and now since they are together, they have shows like fastlane playing. What does fastlane have to do with games or technology?

I too am NOT a big fan of Fastlane what-so-ever. I like G4 a lot better then Tech TV. All though they both have their pros and cons, I think Tech TV was just getting dated so they had to merge with a newer company [G4] to keep things spicy.
At least the brought back Call for Help.

Tech TV gave me a reason to own a television. I hate G4 and all their crappy writers/hosts. I mourn when I think of how Tech TV is just dead now. Sure, we got to keep x-play and anime unleashed untouched, sure. But that's a game show and cartoons.

I liked when they merged at first. That was because I didn't have Tech TV and wanted it bad. I did have G4 though and I have to admit, I watched the channel 24-7. I never really had to change the channel.
Now though, I barely watch it anymore except for the occational "Attack of the Show" which sucks now since Kevin Rose left. I do still watch it though just because I like to actually see people talking about a game even if they don't know what they are talking about.
It sure beats reading about something on the internet.
What will he do next?
G4 sucks, they bought Tech TV to gain more viewers because more people watched Tech TV. The highest rated show on G4 is a Tech TV show, even further proof that G4 is garbage. The only decent G4 person I think is Keven P. because he makes fun of anime, Nintendo, and other kiddie stuff. The rest of them are uninteresting, MTV rejects. Not to mention Cheat is the stupidest concept for a show.
There is a rumor that G4 will be turning itself more into Spike TV. I think you can see it already happening. I say good riddance. G4 is an insult to any serious gamer or technology buff.
For all the Tech TV fans, I recommend checking out what the old hosts are doing online these days. Kevin Rose broadcasts a couple of net shows at Revision3. Patrick Norton does Digital Life. Martin Sargent at his blog is supposedly still trying to get another show going. Leo is back on G4, but he also does TWIT on the side, which you can download at Revision3 or his site. I'm sure their are more ex-hosts doing stuff online if you remember their names.
I have to say i absoultely HATE cheat more than any other show on that channel.
That girl who hosts it is such a dits. not to mention not attractive (flat as can be)

Definitley. Cheat has to be the dumbest show ever.
1. The host (as you said) is so dumb. She's attractive yes, but I don't think she's in any way familiar with video games.
2. What are the chances that your video game you want for cheats, is going to be on the show?
3. Has anyone ever heard of the internet? Type in "<your game> cheats" and you have all of them listed.

Fastlane, whip set, that drifting show, all of these suck. I see no point to have them on a tech/game show...

They're just like every other network now. They don't care about the show so long as it has viewers.
But yeah, I really do hate Fastlane and the other crap. I used to live on Tech-TV back in the day. Now I only turn it on for a handful of shows. Anime Unleashed, X-Play and Attack of the Show. I used to watch Screensavers but I havn't seen it on in a while. Was it cancelled or just bad timing on my part?
I also hate Judgement Day and Cheat.
