in Guild Wars 2
I was just on Guildwars2guru.com and it said: Augest 15th Stress Test is live! I log on and it says "The game client was unable to connect to the log-in server. If the problem persist, please contact Customer Support for assistance at http://support.guildwars2.com" is this because that so many people are logging on? Or is it just me... I would love if you guys can help me out.

I doubt this will be the last stress test before headstart. I can understand OP's "obsession" to test it out on his comp though, since I as well had to test it on my 2 desktops and my laptop. Don't worry though, GW2 doesn't really require that much powah, and I really don't get that annoyed having graphics set to minimum, being the hardcore PvP player that I am. FPS to ze max!
Regarding Anet wiping characters as of the end of the stress test of 15. August, don't worry. I was disconnected just before server shutdown, and I reconnected and was apparently able to stay online for almost 30 minutes after. Characters was still there, and you will see when the next test comes around.
