Hopefully, the NA publisher won´t do anything wrong ...

NA publishers unfortunately will now always, ALWAYS butcher asian games because now it's about appealing to a wider audience instead of the geeks and the fans. So more than likely yes they'll do something wrong. You have fickled people in this country that'll make sure the game diverts as much as possible from it's origins or have content removed or significantly altered. Unfortunately it can come from 'newer' gamers themselves as well too(who are mostly off playing swtor, wow, and are taught that korean mmo's suck ontop of it that's been stuck as the main attitude ever since).

Besides that I see the picture you supplied is an 18+ rated one. The hand with the male-and female icon symbolizes that there might be tension or even a form of "interaction" in the game. Depending on what it is (Queen's Blade has it where clothing can come off, not nessecarily interactions like Hot-Coffee).

Last time I looked though ArcheAge was labeled 15+ for korean audience but that was last year. So unless they've added some things that changed it then it's probably something sexual or sexy.

The only thing I guess  for the reason of the M+ rating too is because there is a scene between star-crossed lovers who fight each-other in a battle-arena and end up stabbing one another through with swords. Then they die upon each other's shoulders.

It won't. The thought of an 18+ mmo scares publishers so they'll down-rate it to 17+ by chopping something out then essentionally treating the entire game like it's T-rated.

They just make more money off having the almost-adult buy their game then a 18+ rated mmo in NA. EU already showed their poker-face by what they did for TERA so ArcheAge would be a problem for them.

The gaming industry has gotten stricter in EU.

its good news ! i also like their reasoning "because it may gets content added in future wich would require a amature rating".

The danger of developers become soft and start to take out the good rough parts is big and those guys even plan to stay rough and mature and authentic in the future :D

I wish it would be 18+. But I doubt it will be that here. Hell I wish it would be 25+ here. Wait after second thought I dont know about that, I would probably end up loosing more faith in humanity.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)

AA is diffrent than Tera though.

There is no 'revealing' in AA on scale like it is in Tera.

I wonder why it even got this 18+ in Korea.

Anyway hope it stays like that in NA / EU.

Censors should keep their hand off.

From what I undertand from the link they decided to move it to M. . it didn't "get" the rating.

Glad they went in this direction as the game felt to kiddish after a while.  Having sort of a Korean semi-anime feel to it didnt help its cause either.  However, I wouldnt expect full on nudity, though there have been reports of graphical glitches exposing completely nude characters.  The developers said that they still want the game to be appropriate enough to play with family.  Just im sure they slapped it on for legal reasons.
