So just over a week till launch guys & gals!
What are you looking forward to doing most in the first 24 hours of your Tyrian experiences and why?
Personally i cannot wait to start exploring the world of Tyria, in particular WvW dungeons and everything outside the hustle and bustle of combat. Such an immersive would with the visual style combined with an epic score from Jeremy Soule is the cherry on the cake for me.

I'll enjoy being able to play the game as slow as I want without having to look for bugs or trying to cover as much as possible in the shortest amount of time.
Testing the game has been a ton of fun but now I'm ready to get attached to my character.
Yeahhh!, the hype its huge,. 1 more week still but only that XDD. 10 days off to enjoy the launch, all settled.
Meantime, waiting, going outside as much as i can, got hooked on dota2 so ill be double pleased when gw2 launches and drives me out of that stressing game.

I'm just gonna go with the flow because so far I like everything about the game that I experienced and there's so much to do everywhere that I get side tracked off the side track around every corner. There's nothing standing out that I want to do first and I'm not in a rush for anything.
Overall though what I enjoy best is that the game brings exploration back to MMO's for me and rewards well for it (not just talking loot here, the experience in its own is rewarding enough already).
How good is it! I didn't think i'd ever experience the feeling of adventure through exploration in an MMO ever again. But I guess GW2 is breaking the trends. Loving the prospects of this franchise!
Well I guess when the game comes out my life is gone!

I work 12 hour shifts overnight every weekend. The wife is going to log in and get my names for me, and I'll make my guild and then wait impatiently for the weekend to end :P
7 days and 20hours til head start! Don't try to fool me into thinking it's only one week. Don't get my hopes up!!!:P

Sadly it just happens to be the weekend that I have reserve duty. So once I get home or it it's up before I have to go to work I'm going to take around 30mins or so to make my first character...a Ranger. Then when I get off work and sunday night I'm going to go around and try to find and charm all the pets that are needed for that class.
Then of course be in agony as I will have to get up monday for work so I can't stay up to late, but then that following weekend I'm supposed to go home for Labor day (CRAP!!) to visit the fams so again I won't be playing it for a bit extensively. However I will only be there for a short amount of time. Might come back early and have a day or 2 off to play at my leisure...which means 15-20hrs of geek time a day.
Still it will be nice to finally make a character and get some time with it and not have to rush.
Pffft, what's 20 hours? Not even a day! :P
Hmm, i quit my job release week and start new one week after. I'm skint at moment so miss headstart, but get paid on release day lol. Sweeeeeet!
Was hyped for Secret World, but it's another SWTOR singple player dungeon fest by looks of it, no social or exploration.
I would generally avoid games like this that draw in the bad crowd, but sod it, i spend 10 times the cost of this game on going out up the pub, so i need something lol.
Tonight we drink because tomorrow we die, I mean play!
I plan to be wasted this weekend, we got great weather, an open town festival with lotsa bands playing for free and I have plenty of beer in my fridge. In fact it is for an entire week so I might go and see some band and have a brewski or 2 a few days in the middle of the week as well.
I plan for a cold and rainy autumn with plenty of gaming but I wont play anything else my last week of summer. Next saturday are we putting up a LAN for some of the guildies in our newly formed GW2 guild and we who played it in the beta will show the ropes to the new guys. It will be great fun.
Where do you work and are they hiring???
I am most looking forward to being able to log in and play....I keep missing stress tests.
Beyond that, I am on the same page as you. I limited what I let myself do and see in the BWEs.

Back in the high school days when we would crash at a mates place and play LAN games all night. Good times!
