I played this game for about a month but PvE is not my thing and this game was all PvE at the lower/mid levels, so I quit. However, I am wondering how the end game PvP is like. Is it worth going through PvE for the PvP if you dont like the former?
Because I really liked the game mechanics and such, just didnt like the on-rails ThemePark PvE of it so I might consider coming back if the PvP is worth it.

The PvP is obviously fun.... when it happens. Unfortunately unless your in one of the bigger guilds your not gonna get:hardly any PvP action, and even then mechanics are being easily exploited to render actual PvP meaningless. This game also suffers from some serious balance issues. Unless your playing a slayer or a reflect priest you might as well give up in small scale.
It sucks because this game has so much potential. But if Korea keeps making the decisions for class balance this game will never be a contender in the PvP field.
"In the immediate future, we have this one, and then weve got another one that is actually going to be so were going to have, what we want to do, is in January, what were targeting to do, this may or may not happen, so you cant hold me to it. But what were targeting to do, is have a fun anniversary to the Ilum shenanigans that happened. An alien race might invade, and they might crash into Ilum and there might be some new activities that happen on the planet." ~Gabe Amatangelo
PvP in this game is broken badly for several reasons. The most bleeding one is the 30% Reflect Damage.
Simply put PvP sucks.
There is no battlegrounds at the moment but by the end of the month they announced ONE battleground.
Open World PVP on the other hand is a complete joke.
No sieges, no open world objectives, no rewards, plenty of safe zones, instanced channels and exploitable gvg....
No changes planned
The simple truth is that PvP used to be incredibly fun for the first few weeks after release when everyone had the same junky gear, but you have now officially missed the boat. Once we maxed out, all of the cool PvPers eventually realized the game was grind2win and hauled ass out of there.
It's the same unfortunate thing that happened to Aion... Abyss / rift PvP was so goddamn fun for the first week... then the discrepencies started showing up in player gear and things got stupid.
The grind for gear was the icing on the cake for me. I mean I got the Nexus gear and +9ed it and all that. But the class imbalance was terrible, thats what really killed it for me. This game is a PvE game in Blu Holes eyes, so long as that continues PvP will never be a true contender for this game.
