Holy crap!! dont start one of these please! We have children we have to feed there is no time to start a flame war! As the great wisdom of Kimde once said "Go slide down a razor blade into a pool of alchol"

On Time? On Target? Never Quit?

I fail to see the big deal.  If you don't like the topic just stay out of it.  Plus people are always going to ask anyway... this is a MMORPG site.

You guys should really look at the number of posts this person has before you start flaming them. They dont know that many people before them have made the same exact topic.

One caters to a casual, one caters to a hardcore. It's not better, they just suit better audiences.

P.S. These topics have been done to death, let it die.

i wasn't trying to start anything, i made the thing out of pure curiosity. I've played mmo's for a while, and just started using mmorpg's forums, as you can see i've been a member for over a year. i could have done a better poll that said, Ultima Online or Meridian 59 ::::04::...if you don't like a topic or "have children to feed" you really shouldent be commenting, because obviously you don't have time. i played wow since release, and got bored with it a few months ago, and recently started playing everquest 2. flame me if you wan't for my silly little poll, that adds nothing to the real world. i don't understand why people take things so personally. ::::27::.

Its nothing personal its just that there are like over a hundred of topics like this, and most are sick of them.

Also on topics like these you never get an answer. It all comes to personal taste.

Tip: Use the search before making a topic please.

neither, WoW is solely character advancement and nothing else, eq2 is just unfun.

i think wow is a better game but not by a lot. WoW still needs a lot of improvement to do. They neet to start listening to people. Which they dont do very well.

Instead of reluying on bit content patches and talent tree rebuilding they should take into concideration making the following aviable:

a LFG tool : This would make getting a group so easy. They should get rid of the stupid meeting stone NOBODY uses them. Instead make a LFG tool that is very detaild!!! one that allows you to search by class lvl and allows you to select what instance of quest you are working on. like that people looking for the same thing can find each other faster.

another small fix that would make people happy is the introduction of a set of quest aimed at the lvl 60 crow. something that involvs both pvp and PVE but im not talking about a quest that can be done in a day something that can be done with a group across multiple zones and instances.

To finish up brng in some type of ring events like in EQ Planes of Power. These type of events would be o a timer and they would be also hard to do. but instead of them needing a 40 man raid they could be done by 2 or 3 groups this would favor small guilds ect.

    Currently playing:
    WoW
    GW
    Games im looking foward to:
    ZerA
    Granado Espada

EQ2 has this. You can search in Zone or all zones. Class, race, level range, Evil or Good etc. Its great.

I played WoW for 3 months, hit 60 and found out I was just hanging out. I found it to be a little to easy and linary. Also it just had a noninteresting combat system. Just click click click and hope you get in the last fatal blow.

EQ2 has reopened my eyes. Sure its not as easy, but I see that as a good thing. I learn new things everyday.

Its more work to play compaired to WoW. It goes to show that being "handed" the game like in WoW making everything easy from the start tends to make you run dry. Were in EQ2 you need to work for it making it more rewarding and (IMO) makes the game more fun in the long run.
It has a vast amount of options and not to mention quest. The combat is alot more interactive, were you actually have to pay attention to what your other group members are doing. The Hero Opertunitys are great!

Crafting is a game in itself. Took me a long time to master it and understand, but now I find myself crafting more then questing. image

I just think EQ2 is for the more demanding player and can apreshiate a indepth game were YOU have to figgure things out and evolve, were WoW is for them that want to scream "Charge!" and wave there over sized weapons around.

So incase you didnt see what I am voting for...Everquest 2 is the winner no contest. Naturally WoW will end up having a higher vote on you poll due to the fact WoW is alot more populated game. So your poll will really have no answer for you.

I see that your Xfire  shows you are playing EQ2. Good man!image Just stick to it.

i'll never make a poll like this again. and the mmo world will rejoice! i find eq2 a bit harder than wow, but seem to like the challenge, either way both games are good. ::::28::
