WoW sure does take up a lot of time. If I go back to it I would play it like this.
1 month WoW/Planetside 2 will be the only games I play
1 month WoW for 2 weekends a month and any other games I wanna play for the entire month. I would rotate each month.
What about you guys? Do you ever have time to play other games or divide your time between wow and other non-mmo titles?
Really, I can't see an MMO worth playing right now other then WoW and Planetside 2. GW2 does not have true open world pvp and the lore is boring.

I don't play WoW anymore, but for the many, many years that I did, I never managed to play many other games. I did keep buying those games that I thought I would like though, for both the PC and PS2/PS3. When I finally quite WoW I counted all of the games I had sitting here which I hadn't played yet and the number was 52.
...That was over 2 years or so ago, and I STILL haven't managed to play most of them.
(P.S. My reference to quitting WoW should not be taken as any form of criticism of the game. I loved it and some of my fondest gaming memories are from my time there. )
It's all about time management. Most people who play WoW treat it like a job and spend 5+ hours a day, every single day, playing it for no reason other than getting mats for their next raid or grinding heroics they don't even enjoy anymore.
I never had a problem playing other games because thats how I treated WoW, JUST, ANOTHER, GAME. and I still did a few heroics back in wrath when I actually played.
Playing
Nothing

The secret world
Played
WoW, DCU online, star wars: the old republic, city of heroes, city of villains, everquest, plenty more I'm probably forgetting or aren't worth noting.
I find I always have time to play whichever game I feel like, my situation is atypical though, being disabled essentially I have nothing else to do but 12-15 hrs in front of my computer each day. This basically allows me to do whatever I want whenever I want. My roster of permanent games reads like WoW, EvE, FF11, Rift, Skyrim, Minecraft, Civ 5, Sins of a Solar Empire - Rebellion. I play what I feel like, sometimes ignoring them for a week or two concentrating on a new Skyrim character or something, but I always spend at least a few days each month on all of them. Probably Guild Wars 2 will be added to the list since my awesome Rift community is opening a chapter there as well, and since it's no sub, it will be like another single player game I can jump back in when I feel like it.
The only thing that people may comment on is that I don't really raid as such in any of the MMO's I play so I'm not as tied to any one as someone who might raid 3-5 nights a week for 3-4 hrs. Obviously you then have to farm to prepare etc etc.
You can change your signature now - The Secret World has been out a while.
The upcoming GW2 will be the only MMO I'm playing for a while. It's the only one I can fit into my new college schedule.
Most of the time, I'm just playing other random games or not playing games at all.
Played Wow since launch, but i am only a casual player, so i get the chance to play stuff in between. I like flash type games, so i tend to play those though Kongregate, i also play Tribes Ascend, Trackmania, Counterstrike etc when the mood takes me.
Love WoW, but you need something different to do from time to time.
It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.
