After 3 hrs of searching for something new and exciting,I could not find anything to play.

Wow.

After being done with the expensive cash shops such as Boi and Woi...the totally trashed and hacked Maple Story..the boring dallies over and over of many games.. the never ending games...the bullys and rude ppl on games...the same format of a lot of games....  Global agenda,Vindictus,Onverse,Minecraft,Runescape,Diablo 3 ,Raiderz,Uncharted waters,Lol,Rise of the immortals,Hon, Grimlands,BlahBlah....

1 Game was okay but i'll w8 for F2P and thats Tera.Nice game there.

Other than that,I see mmorpgs that are all the same...

Copies of Lol making their way into the system.....

There really isnt anything thrilling to play....

Time to hit the single player scene for awhile. Reccomend Darksiders 2. Bring a controller.

That's about all i can think of.

    GW2 be out soon.

    The Deep Web is sca-ry.

I've been having a lot of fun with Tribes until GW2 goes live, I'd recommend giving it a look. Lots of fun, free on Steam.

    Oderint, dum metuant.

  • Gotta concur on Tribes: Ascend. Had known about it for a while, but hadn't really looked into it. Just started playing a few days ago. I played the old Tribes games back in the day and this is a pretty faithful successor. It's a lot of fun and it's super fast-paced. Kind of brutal to get into if you haven't played super fast FPS games in a long time, but you get the hang of it after a while!

It may not exactly have BF3 graphics, but it's very fun.

A ton of us are in that same rut and have been for a LONG time.

The mmo I was really looking forward to was Jumpgate evolution but that crashed and burned, and my computer cannot handle SWTOR so I'm hosed there in the meantime, and I'm sick and tired of fantasy so no GW2 for me. But I'm planning on getting a new computer for planetside 2.

Would echo what the previous poster has said - nothing beats a single player story, find yourself one to pass the time or heck...go outside and discover the world. (it's the ultimate sandbox, perma death, no linear content, etc.)

Sounds like you are burnt out. Time to move on. Switch over to single player games or take a break from gaming period. Maybe grab a Kindle and read some books.

The wide variety of games that you claimed were all the same is a serious sign of burn-out.

You may want to try a new hobby for a few weeks and then come back.

For a few weeks? It takes months to get over something like that, in some cases even years.

OP: Take a break from PC MMOs for a while. Preferably a long while. Why not trying a pen and paper RPG instead (Pathfinder is good, avoid D&D 4th ed).  Or play some strategy or FPS games a few months, you know it when the burnout is over.

Almost everyone gets a burnout now and then, it is your brain telling you to try something new once in a while. I had several on MMOs myself, the longest one took several years to get over before the games were fun again.

You could of course try games that are very different from the ones you tried, that helps sometimes.

Oh, Darksider 2 is a nice game. I like it so far. Borderland 2 is going to be released soon. I probably won't have time for MMOs for a while.

TERA has everything those other games you mention have. Only thing about TERA is the action "animation badly locked" combat and the Awesome character models and graphic visuals. Like you, im also waiting for it to go F2P.

Like others said, time to pick up some single players for a while, man

OP Tera is basically a B2P. While leveling up you'll easily make enough gold to cover the cost of a chronoscroll (Use in game for 30 days of game time). Once you get level 60 you can make enough gold for a chronoscroll in a few hours of farming.

I'm hard up for cash right now and had a few days on my TERA account remaining. I was shocked to see how cheap the chronoscrolls are.

    Just something to consider^
