Hello! Thanks for taking some time to read more about Mercenary Position.
About Us
Mercenary Position is a mature, PVE-focused (some PvP/WvW), casual progression guild with hardcore tendencies. Our players have banded together in AION, RIFT, SWTOR, TERA, TSW, and many other MMOs along the way. We appreciate the benefits that come with being a cross-gaming guild and take our fun (not ourselves) seriously.
We are a close-knit group of friends and family who enjoy crafting, guild events, and helping guild members. We have weekly events, dungeon runs, crafting nights, etc. Our Ventrilo is well-used and our members are encouraged to participate anytime they're in game. We are actively looking to add new members to our ranks.
We've always been a "Quality over Quantity" guild.

Server selection was finalized this weekend. We are now rolling on Jade Quarry! Hello to all the JQ guilds out there and welcome to the additional members who've joined Mercenary Position over the past week.
Our next guild newsletter goes out this Wednesday, we are finalizing the guild emblem this week, and we'll be having a late-night party Friday night in hopes of getting into Headstart the "three hours early" ArenaNet teased us with.
For those of you still looking for a fun, active, smaller guild, we are still recruiting. Our forums haven't been needed much as most of our actives are in Ventrilo and obviously we use guild chat when folks are online, but I still post to FB and our forums announcing events and other activities.
We've held half a dozen guild events, run a few dungeons a day, farm karma and mats for exotics, have every craft at 400, and have a few folks with multiple 80s and others working on alts. We have six or seven unlocks completed for the guild (including stash and trove, guild armor and weapons), and run influence buffs and banners often.
