GW2 and Zavvi

Did anyone pre-purchace through Zavvi?

I ask because I pre-purchased, but am now concerned because I havn't heard from Zavvi in regards to my order being fullfilled and my account shows no outstanding orders.  Anyone else pre-purchased and have concerns about whether Zavvi is going to fullfill orders?

    I read on GW2 Guru that they either sent them out on Friday or are doing it today. If I don't get any sort of change or confirmation on my order today I will be calling them.

    I have been in touch with Zavvi's CS, just awaiting on their response, because the way I read the advertisement when pre-purchase went up on sale on 10/04/2012 a beta key would be sent, which I recieved and we would recieve the game later when launch day is announced.  I made the query as its a Bank holiday weekend in the UK when headstart comes and I'd like to know when they will despatch the physical copy, if they intend to at all, and I think people want to start asking questions, because I have a bad feeling about this.

    i got my pre-purchase through amazon uk, the code that was sent out was the game code itself.

    I would think that zavvi would have sent you the pre-purchase box with your game code in that. that game code is not just for the beta's  but to play the game itself, so you might not actualy get a physical copy of the disc.

     

    good to see our bank holiday coming up this weekend when the games released though:)

    I have no idea if the events are connected but about 2 minutes after leaving a question in the zavvi website saying I was assured they had enough copies to fufill my order I got a message saying it had been dispatched.

    Hope you guys have heard from them as well.

    Yes, I also got email from zavvi confirming my CE order has been dispatched.

    AFAIK Amazon.co.uk were not doing a pre purchase and have no pre-order bonus (by way of the 1 day headstart) either.

    You may have bought off a Amazon Marketplace supplier which is therefore not Amazon Uk themselves.
