Stress test tomorrow!

We will be conducting a stress test tomorrow Tuesday, August 21 from 12:00 Noon PACIFIC Time to 4:00 PM PACIFIC Time.

We will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover featu

res that are not working as designed.

Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch.

By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game. Thanks for your cooperation—we’ll see you in-game!

Please note:
* The stress test is open to anyone who has pre-purchased Guild Wars 2.
* Characters will not be wiped from the previous Stress Test.
* The Stress Test will include Spanish text localization. ~RB2

    "Loading screens" are not "instances".
    Your personal efforts to troll any game will not, in fact, impact the success or failure of said game.

    I am not touching the game again until head start. Had enough jonesing already. Luckily got into firefall beta (thanks mmorpg.com) and will be playing that for now to hold me over..... ;)

    This is pathetic. I've never seen a company in my life that doesn't know how to do a stress test.

     

    4pm PST? That is literally smack dab in the MIDDLE of the working day for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and I believe countries like Great Britain are going to bed around this time?

     

    Do they not understand what a "stress test" means?

     

     

    Or are these "Stress Tests" meant for Australian players?

    What I dont understand is why hasn't Anet been conducting stress tests as often as they are now since GW2 was released for pre-purchased. I know that they are getting ready for release, but it would have been nice to have had this frequency of stress tests since April 10th.

    I just want to play the game soooooo bad!

    Well some of us still have things to decide...main race? profesion?

    and these 4 hours play tests can help to have every nailed for release^^

    Europe actually, where they have an incredibly large playerbase.  It'll be primetime for them.

    They have done most Tests at that time...which is prime time in Europe.

    They have a massive player base in Europe (England,France,Germany & Spain mostly)

    I agree though...it´s in the middle of the working day in US...and that´s exactly what they`re doing....work in US....
