The rest are pretty crappy, although Norn males do the Carlton dance. However, The Asura dance is one of the best dances in an MMO to date. Pay attention to the detail, the god damn ears move in sync with the dance.

For serious? It's settled then. I guess I'm making fat Norn Thief doing the Carlton Dance.
Originally posted by Eir_S I wasn't even going to log in this stress test, but I had to see the dances. OMG the Norn male dance is fruity lol
It is. I was kinda hoping for the Technoviking for the norn males. Sylvari male is fruitier anyway.
No way. Killing someone and then do the Carlton Dance on their body...that just screams win.
^ lol i agree
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at a store, oftentimes, I will drop it... so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential. --Mitch Hedberg
People act like dancing and jumping don't matter....
One of my fondest memories in WoW (and probably all online games) was getting killed near stone talon peak on my NE druid. I was ganking up near the top and causing all kinds of problems at release.. cause of stealth and root not breaking on dmg.
Now I had earned a butt kicking ... so eventually I got killed by 3 tauren.. I'm like jerks had to 3 v 1 me!!!!!... then I notice it was an entire swarm of tauren from the same guild... probably 20+....
They all did the peanut butter jelly time dance on my corpse...
I couldn't stop laughing... dorm mates at the time fell over.

I was capping one of the Hellfire PvP areas once as an 80, thinking I had it made, when another 80 came down in full PvP gear and wrecked my shit, then plonked an "OWNED" flag on my head and started dancing. God it pissed me off at the time, but looking back even days later I couldn't help but laugh. At least the jerk had some slick moves (BE male btw).

Sure I've seen the Sylvari dance somewhere, just can't place it.
Dancing in MMO's has always brought fond memories. Think I spent more time either at my Cantina or at Starports in SWG, with my musican/dancer more than anything.
Anyway, someone may enjoy these from SL, which is probably the best MMO for dances. Although also the worst, since its all player created.

I was plesantly surprised by the first video. For Second Life, it looked perfectly normal. Then I saw the second video with the orange neon furry doing the Melbourne Shuffle and I was like "Yup, that's the Second Life I know."

No matter how bad the style of dance may be for certain races this is really sharp and detailed on ANets part. Thanks Aerowyn.
Jumping is the best part of MMOs. How EVE manages to survive without it amazes me...
They use jumpgates
Glad to see the dance emote finally arrived in GW2
All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.
I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.
I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.
I can see the headlines now: Anet counters Blizzard two pronged attack of strategically timed release dates and patches with /dance.

Awesome, very animated.
The male one is great! The female one is too anime-ish for my taste.
He looks like he really is having a good time, rather then a blank face he's got some nice expressions going on.

Here are all the dance moves.
EDIT: Oh my goodness, the Charr one is absolutely terrible.
